I’m using the Copertina case with my Magic KeyBoard case I got yesterday. Also waiting for my Aria leathe case for both to arriv. Love the Copertina case. Show sitting on top my gen 3 12.9 iPad Pro with a leather pad and quill case

With the greatest respect the comments here seem to miss the point. The Magic Keyboard isn’t a case. It’s a keyboard and stand. Writers on other sites have already noted that the Magic and Smart Keyboards don’t protect the sides of the iPad Pro and are prone to very quick wear and damage.

Perhaps the people commenting here don’t actually own a Magic Keyboard? So what if it’s $100? I’d end up paying twice that for a case which isn’t half as good a quality from apple. And frankly if it protects my $350 Magic Keyboard from being wrecked within 6 months then I’m all for it!

ummm... don’t know if you noticed, But there’s a global pandemic on.... Time to be a little bit more patient and charitable when everyone is struggling? I’ve always found their customer service outstanding.

Would love to see some real world pics of the Aria leather case when you receive please. I'm actually considering one but would have to face UK import fees and taxes.

I think I'd prefer the Oxford case for the leather finish on the inside flap but for some weird reason it looks like they've made the camera cutout far too wide on the back?

Not sure I'm digging the folded and glued corners showing under your keyboard on the Copertina. Also looks like it sticks out quite a bit from the edge of the magic keyboard. Think I would personally prefer the soft touch of leather - I'm hoping the corners are affixed better.

The skin route is the best low profile option but I'm not convinced this won't damage the soft finish of the magic keyboard once removed.

these are of my recently arrived Aria case. Yes the nylon type lining is just not grippy enough for me but the case is great. I’m thinking of also ordering one of the new oxford cases, but I’m going to wait SE see if they make one with a magnetic mount as opposed to using the 3m stick solution. If that does happen, I will definitely order it.

Thanks for pic. Do you think if they made a magnetic version it will work with magic keyboard attached? I'm gonna email them and see if they have plans as I'm not keen on 3M pads.

I heard they were making a version of the Oxford case for the 4th gen and the keyboard. right now it has the 3m tape however they will ship in July a version Octavo slim Magnetic fast for the 12.9 with the magic keyboard. So once that ships I’m think that a version of the Oxford is possible. But since the Oxford is one piece of leather might have to be a version of the Aria. The Copertina version that is magnetic is do to ship in July but it will not be able (I think )to hold the magic keyboard just the iPad.

HI, Oxford magnetic version now listed. Just for ipad on it's own though.

Any chance of some more pic of the Aria. Id like to see the quality of the inside and how the keyboard rests on it if possible?

These are from the inside, however I do not like taking the magic keyboard off the the 3m tape even though I have purchased extra tape for previous cases. It can be done though. BTW I just placed an order for both oxford cases, with and without the keyboard. My other oxford case for my gen 3 still looks as good as it was on day one. I actually used it for a while on the gen 4 even though the camera was blocked.

Thank you very much, looks great. Now I'm swinging towards the Aria for sure!

Question - have you ever had any issues with the keyboard case finish when removing the 3M pads?







Pad and Quill replied to my query about the camera hole being a wide rectangle larger than the square camera module on the Oxford case and they said:

”The camera hole is purposefully cut in a larger square shape so it's compatible with both Smart & Magic Keyboard.”

This makes no sense to me as the camera placement in the AMK and Smart Keyboard is in the same place?
