I get what you're going for, but calling a Mac a BMW is insulting. Foreign cars are garbage.

Funny, that is exactly what we think about American cars ;) And I even own one, which conforms this...

And thus the reason it may still be better to buy an Intel Mac and Windows 10.

That was the reason why I bought the latest Intel iMac in 2020. I will keep it, even after replacing it as my main desktop computer, just to be able to run the three Windows applications I sometimes need.

Yes the Standard edition isn't but they upped the price to $99 and is limited to just 8GB of RAM and only 4 vCPUs.

And that was the reason, why I bought VMWare Fusion for my second iMac. Parallels is more polished, but VMWare gets the Job done too, including running Windows 11. Until now I updated Parallels every year, but next year I will consider switching my other iMac to VMWare to. Have to check, but I think I can use the same license for booth iMacs.

How is it running for you with Win11? I've got VMWare installed on my 2020 MBP and have allocated 16gb of memory to the VM and it's still super slow and spins up my fans every time. I've been using my Win10 VM (also in VMWare) instead because I can't stand the fan noise. W10 runs so smoothly it's like I'm on a native Windows machine.

I have Parallels on my 2021 14-inch and can rarely get the fans to spin up.
