unless Verizon has changed their policy since yesterday you will not lose UDP creating a sub account

edit; it is entirely possible Verizon did change their AOL policy today

call back and try another rep

The weekend / evening crews are retards so I prefer calling V weekdays around 8:30 am pacific time for best results

And yet another rep that says moving to a sub account will lose uld. Grrr..

Wow just got an email from AOL department for the first time outlining the AOL process. It says the recipient will be required to switch to a currently available plan.

That was always part of the fine print. My guess is that they are going to enforce it now.

One question is whether 11/13/14 is the last day to AOL a UDP, or the first day you can't.

Taking a look at the AOL information on the Verizon website yields this sentence:

Note: Your service assumption will be subject to a credit check. You may be required to switch to current pricing and promotions. A security deposit may also be required.

When the link was posted on this thread or the closed thread and with the post above I believe the AOL information reported "May be required to switch" and per Jules email it states "You will be required to change".

hmmm

Do you think these changes to the UDP policy will mean that I'd lose UDP if I ported a number into my existing UDP lines?

Sorry about that.

no prob I hear there are other forums that allow that subject if you browse back on this thread you'll find some links

Porting a number should be no problem these changes only involve the transfer of a line

I don't quite get it, so is it effective the 13th or is it effective now? Jules, your email confused me cause that's stating they will require the change once it is being assumed...and that's like as current as of today!

your guess is as good as mine. I have a pending AOL that is supposed to complete tonight, I will let you know.

If you take back a phone to Apple does Verizon automatically cancel the line or do you have to call..

I've been dealing with a Verizon reseller business. I've sent him an emailing see if their Verizon account rep can confirm this happening. If so the show is over. I don't know if it'll be different doing an AOL to a business rather than a consumer.
