No no contract at all.

Yes.... Just have to pay etf and taxes to Verizon which adds up big time. You will profit only $100, give or take $50 using this method. Not worth the time and effort I say.

Not to mention waiting 60 days to get your etf back from t-mobile. Still need to pay those service fees for 2 months.

If I'm reading correctly, you also have to purchase a new phone from them. Definitely not worth it unless your planning on staying with them.

arent you stuck with t-mobile then?
I think TMobile is no contract now. I don't think you get the ETF gc w/in a month though, most people say it takes about 2 months.

Also you only get to do this once, so you would need to do all of your lines together.

So let's say you had 2 lines, you would bring them over to the cheapest family plan with 1GB of data is $80/mo. So you would be looking at $160 plus the costs of the new phones and the costs of the trade-in phones minus the trade-in values.

Has anyone bought anything in store today? I know some were saying yesterday that it was closed in store. I can't order online to check because I have pending order that they won't clear off.

Can you return a phone that's within a the return window if it's been AOL'd to another person. Will that line drop from their account?

I tried to exchange an iPhone for a different color that I had already AOL'd the line, so a Verizon error showed on the Apple Store hand terminal. Wouldn't allow me to do it. Thought this may help someone out there. Don't know about returns though.

ITA, 2 months of their cheapest service for 2 lines is $160 + taxes/fees, which would put it at $170 where I live. So $700 - $170 = $530.

Then you have to buy 2 trade-in phones and 2 new phones. You subtract that cost and what are you left with? You do get some trade-in value for the trade-in phones but it is minimal. For instance, a GNex, which costs about $75 on swappa, would get you $11 in trade-in value.

You could sell the new phones and recoup some money there but after listing/paypal/shipping fees, how much would you net?

All of this would be a WHOLE lot of work for little money. Just depends on how much your time is worth whether that would be worth $50-$100 to you.

New order late last night, pick-up notice this morning, and just left the store with the phone.

Not AOL related but just in case people wanted to add lines.

Thanks, did you buy one in store as well?

Just so you know, had you not AOL'ed the line and still had the line in your account and did an exchange for color you would have lost your UDP. This is because they process an exchange as a return/repurchase and when the repurchase goes through the line is kicked down to 2GBs.

If you don't like the model/size/color of a phone and want to keep UDP your ONLY option is to return and have that completed. Then reorder from scratch.

You can do replacement phones (which are currently brand new devices but you don't get the box/accessories) for hardware defects but they give you the same model/size/color.

you math is way off lets say you get starter plan $45 so two months is 90$ + 200$ for iphone + 35 activation fee. sell phone for 700$ profit 350$ ater buying phone

Have you guys tried AOLing to a new customer? The reason I ask is cause the rep I spoke with read me the whole message that they received and said specifically "it says you can't AOL UDP to an existing customer. But it doesn't say anything about a new customer." She did go on to say that its probably the same for both, but wasn't sure.
