should have known the end was near when the unlimited option disappeared from in store. ah handsight.
yeah, that was the warning sign in retrospect - when the 450 minute plans stopped working for in store purchases

----------

The way I've been getting them to go through is just by telling the buyer to tell the rep to just leave the plan alone. Kind of like if you don't tell them about unlimited data, it will go through, as long as the rep isn't devious (meaning they change the plan without telling the buyer)
That's what I told all of my clients - just say do not change the plan.

Just trying to figure why it's taking them so long to get the site working again. Didn't think it would of taken this long.

got it, thanks

Are we able to add lines now ? With all those changes are able to buy a iphone
and activate dumb phone and remove data.

Has anyone tried a netgear mbr1515 router with their udp? Just ordered a cheap used one on Amazon if it works out might replace my home wifi

You could add udp on best buy?

I'm curious about the router, as well. I'm looking to pick up one of those or a jetpack.

I don't have any experience with this specific device, but my experience with other provider-branded routers (AT&T, Comcast, etc.) is that they've always been a disappointment. They're usually stripped-down, highly-restricted versions of the manufacturers normal offerings. The provider doesn't want to have to support all of the advanced features so they just have the manufacturer disable and/or hide them.

I currently use a Cradlepoint MBR95 router with a Pantech UML290. Prior to that, I was using the same router with a Novatel 4620L hotspot (wifi-as-wan). There have been ups and downs, but it's been mostly reliable. A lot of routers can also provide similar functionality if flashed with third-party firmware (DDWRT or Tomato), but that can be buggy and complicated.

TP-Link also has a line of 4G-capable routers. Like the MBR95, they don't actually have the modem included but instead just have a USB port for a Pantech UML290 or UML295 or whatever. No real experience with these.

No but if you can't add a line through BB either than the issue isn't with apple, it is Verizon blocking you from adding a line through 3rd party retailers.

No go at BB.com too.

Seems Verizon is blocking NW plan altogether.

We need to fight fire with fire

Also just tried to order on BB.com. I got all the way to Verify Your Mobile Account page and received the following message after typing in the last 4 digits of my social:
"The selected carrier does not provide service for this phone number"

Actually, Verizon Wireless website is currently under maintenance so that explains why my phone number couldn't be validated.

If you need a full feature router try the mbr1400 by cradlepoint, the mbr 1200 is a great 2nd choice but I can buy 1400's for the same or less than 1200's.

I use the Pantech UML295's (USB modem) with the mbr1400's because I like the dual external antenna ports but Cradlepoint does offer their own "Modem caps" for Verizon and other carriers

The 1400 can run dual modems so for those of us with "extra" UDP lines we can put them to good use

I also use the JetPack (also by Pantech) MHS291L as a quick and easy portable hotspot and they work great

I like your idea, so you are saying it would be twice as fast then or just use both modems with UDP to keep connection stable?
