Today was a good day overall. Ordered a 16gb and 64gb iPhone 6+.

eBaying UDP lines has become annoying at best. I have 5 lines that people are not transferring. Some have been for several days. What gives with these people?

Anyone else doing anything other then eBaying or giving them away?

Gtk - Guess I will be up late tonight again trying to get one since I missed out on that one.

What are you storing on your phone that you need that much space? Porno films? Seriously, what?

Always stream porn. Never store it . Hide the 'paper' trail

Imagine it's other sellers, just holding you up so you can't buy more/sell more so they can keep the profits themselves :p

This. It also won't work if you have mobile to any mobile plan.

----------

What they have to do is create a subaccount for the new UDP line. They can't just AOL it - it will merge into the ME plan.

Once the new UDP line is in their subaccount, they can merge the ME lines into it if they want.

Thank you!

Selling to friends and friends of friends

Lol well I'm giving them away at this point. My last two on eBay netted me a whopping $11.

I was reading through the older thread and I noticed some people had issues adding new UDP lines if they didn't already have a family plan. Did anyone find that was a consistent problem? I'm doing an AoL of a single unlimited line today.

Are you receiving the AOL line? If it is currently part of a NW FS plan, it will come to you as a single line Family Share plan. You then can either add more UDP lines to it at $40/mo each ($10 line access fee + $30/mo UDP) or have AOL dept. convert it to a NW individual plan. I posted the rates before.

I am receiving it. I'm not sure if it's a line on an existing FS plan, or if it's a single line. I'm receiving it from another member here, and they said they have multiple lines, but didn't specify if those were multiple individual lines or if they were part of a family plan.

It will probably come to you as a single line FS plan. If not, all you have to do is have the AOL dept turn it into a single line FS plan during the AOL. They can do it so can regular customer reps.

Well I got Iphone 6 today that I got from adding a line.

Everything activated fine, showing up as a new line with a UDP.

Where is the best place to give away a line? Not trying to make anything off it. Just wanted the new phone for my main line.

Thanks for all the help/info guys.

Fantastic. Thank you for the help, Jules!

In this day and age the technology is there for mass storage and it's fairly low cost and it's not like Apple isn't charging enough for their phones so why should we even have to worry about running out of storage? I would like to be able to carry my business data when I'm traveling and I want a selection of TV show series when I'm on the plane and one or two series (actually "seasons" not whole series) and 64gb is full and heaven forbid you want to load a series like Friends I don't even think 128gb can hold that

When I picked up a IP6 16gb yesterday they put a hold on a IP6+ 128gb and told me I could come back later to swap it out. When I came back they tried processing the exchange and it wouldn't let me pick the UDP. Is there a trick to swapping out for a different model?

Ok, enlighten me before I go into Verizon and switch our plans.
Right now we have the nationwide talk and text 1400 plus 4 UDP lines and one dumb phone (which is our old landline number)
Our bill is like 280 (we have insurance on one smartphone)

After looking at the double data plans and pricing...since we stay right around 20 gbs. Between the 4 ...I think I can save money by doing that...even if I get the 20 gb plan which when doubled is 40...

I would only be paying $15 per smartphone access since I've been buying all phones outright

Is there a reason not to switch?

You bring up a good point I use an AT&T as my "back up" phone and I switched to a double data plan and unlimited talk & text (old plan 450 mins, 250 text and 2gb data) and my new bill with a new subsidized 6 plus is still 25 less than what I was paying for the past 3 years. Eventually these discounted big data plans may be the way they suck people off UDP's

thanks, I didn't think about planes. But can you watch on that small screen? My eyes suck.

You don't have to pay full retail for the phones if you have UDP you can use your upgrades:

You can get rid of your home internet by using a MHS on one of the lines, also, you never have to worry about how much data you use.

I have no idea what's going on in this thread, but it sounds super shady!

You saw nothing… *poof*

Thanks again for the help, I did the AOL and tested Apple and was indeed given the option to add a UDP line.

I do have another question. My fiancée is already a Verizon member on a family plan with her mom, but she wants to switch to a UDP line on my plan. She still has a year on her existing contract. Is there any way to get her onto my plan and keep her number?

6 Plus Baby we don't need no stinking glasses lol :p
Well, maybe if you got a Nexus 6 you wouldn't need any glasses but that iP6+ is puny compared to the GIGANTIC Nexus

yes, but she has to pay the etf on her line.

She can port her number to page plus and then re-port to your new UDP line you got for her.

Porting to page plus will terminate her old line.

Page plus? I'll have to look into that. Thanks!

Page Plus is a Verizon MNVO. I believe all that she has to do is type in the IMEI of her current Verizon phone here to port her number for free:

https://www.pagepluscellular.com/activate/

I believe she can just type in the IMEI of her current Verizon device and phone number w/o picking a plan, but I haven't done this myself. Just read about it on SD.
