I tried to order a 16 gb gold plus for store pickup through Apple and got all the way to checkout and got an error saying there was a problem with the order and to try again later. When I went back into the cart to try again someone else had bought it. I hope that someone else swooping in was the reason I got the first error message, and not some problem with my account.
I don't think I will ever use the subsidized option again..I figured that for an iPhone 6 64 gb at the $299 subsidized price...after adding the $25 additional access fee over the course of 2 years ($25x24 months = $600) plus your initial $299 = $899 ....so that $749 full retail iphone just became $150 more expensive....EDGE program or full retail

I want to get an iPhone 6 Plus for my existing Verizon UDP line by adding a UDP line and giving it away but it sounds like it's becoming harder to find people to just take UDP lines.

Okay, cool. As long as I'll be able to add some unlimited lines in the future, that's fine. SoCal seems to be getting steady shipments of pluses anyway.
It just depends on how much data you use per month whether or not it is cheaper. You can still get subsidized devices when you have a UDP line if you follow one of the methods on the slick deals thread I posted.

yeah, SoCal does - inventory refresh is twice a day at 2:10pm and 2:10am eastern time.

eBay you have to make, what is it 10%, more just to break even with the selling prices on Swappa. When you're talking about a $700+ phone those fees just kill it IMO. Have people found eBay prices to be coming in that much higher then Swappa?

I'm not worried about where I can list them (I sold a couple on HF about six months ago). I'm worried that with so many available now that nobody will take them.
Issue with eBay is these goofs are winning and then not taking the freaking lines!
Very strange - what do you think is happening? Can't you just suspend w/o billing?
My issue isn't the cost as much as running out of spots, thus not being able to get more phones. I've got one person who has paid me $250 for two lines three days ago. Theyre just taking their good ole time transferring them.
I wonder if they are not passing the Verizon credit check for the line? How do you find out about that?
I don't think they're even calling, I really don't know. I email these people non-stop and nothing. The person who won the two lines, said he was going to do it today. However that was only if he wasn't busy. WTF
So now my listings state that after I have authorized the transfer you have 48 hrs or you lose your rights to it. I don't have time for these clowns, I need to buy more phones!

LOL! yeah, prices are dropping. So what happens if you refund the money? Do you get a rebate of all the ebay and paypal fees?
I'm not refunding crap! I stated several times in the auction that there will be no refund! I mean the last one sold for $1.89, so at this point I just want the lines gone.
Oh, ok got it. But what if you did refund, I know you get the paypal fees back, what about ebay listing fees?
What if a seller leaves you bad feedback for refunding, can you get that reversed?
I honestly am not sure, I would probably refund it. I'm just annoyed with these people. Between the Nigerian scammers, people offering me $200 and saying I'm crazy for asking $600, having to deal with Apple store employees daily, etc I'm done.
What is happening with the apple store employees? I have only done 1 and the guy did raise his eyebrows when he saw I had UDP, but I just asked a question about a case to change the topic, lol!
I know I don't have the guts to do more than 5 of these - we will see if I can even make it to 5. I have to go back to work soon, so I wanted to get these 5 in quickly but I am only going to do iP6+ from now on so it will depend on my local store's stock how quickly.
