dude, then you're definitely going to the dog house...
i am not sure which one is worse, t-mo or sprint. both have very competitive pricing for data, coverage... not so much (at least where i am)

so pretty much i should just walk up to them and say give me cash, i will give you the phone.....? the problem is that, they will not want you to open the box to take out the sim. I dont want my sim that contains the line information to get out....

also dont you need a verizon/sprint/tmo/att account to get phone since it is "carrier specific"? that's another mystery to me, how they just get the phones.

Would you happen to know what kind of Asian people? Chinese, Vietnamese. Also I thought Verizon iPhone are locked

Sorry JJ.. Went to bed, daughter has to be up early for some basketball.

But since you seem to want to advise me what to do... I will do the same. Why don't you go volunteer somewhere (I do)... meals on wheels, local schools, food pantry, local hospital... Instead of constantly policing these boards... It will make you feel a whole lot better

They are selling to international market. I saw few of them buying 10/day. You can buy 2/transaction and limit 10/day.

You should watch this youtube :-

Not only China.

Verizon iPhone is factory unlocked since iphone 5. You should know by now.

i was in the store pretty early. a line of asians were there already. i was told by apple employee, they do this every morning everyday. i wanted to ask them how much they get on their market, just as a comparison. also if it was good price, i'd just sell to them on the spot. the employee told me, do it outside of the store, else a fight breaks out inside, apple will not want any part of it.

so there is a grey market somewhere, just dont know how to break into it. i cannot imaging that market will pay full retail for it. but who knows, i want to know how these people get rid of their unwanted lines, or they do indeed pay full retail in the store.

i think you're okay. since the receiver should have ample time to think it over, between calling verizon, and receiving t&c from verzion, clicking accept. i think after they agree to take over the line, from that point is between them and verizon. however if they really fight/bitch/moan with verizon and say that you may have "sold" the line, that maybe a little different. verizon may put some kind of marks on your account; however, no one took a gun in their head to buy nor force them to accept the contract and t&c.
They are everywhere. I remember when I was in line there were bunch of them. There was even one young lady going around asking if we need iPhones she will sell it to us. I think these people are sending it to China during first week. Because it was going for $2000 for iPhone 6 and $2700 to $3500 for the plus.

:D no I did not know that. I was reading the apple Web site's forum last night and someone posted its lock. If it realy is unlocked then, I will be getting a bunch of new customers knocking on my door:D

Yes they are GSM unlocked, so they are perfect for the international market. I wish I had a connect to unload these are retail.

over 2 grand during opening week. it's a month after.... but it is a grey market after all, ymmv

No wonder these people got so excited when I told them my prices, they were ready to throw there money at me, but then I told them it's locked. Conversation ended right there

Your 64GB iP6+ is ready for pick-up!!!!!

Saw a few ebay listing and thought to myself ' this can't possible be right, the prices are too high' has to be a scam. Checked out swappa, currently in the process of going through the forum on how to protect your shipping and not get screwed over by the customers. Read that marky insurance his for about $100, was shocked to see it so high. Better safe than sorry I guess. Leaning towards that rout at the moment

What If Verizon Did Like ATT Does and Did Not Allow You to AOL UDP Lines?

Do any of you worry that Verizon may follow in ATT's footsteps and stop allowing people to AOL UDP lines? ATT will allow you to AOL the line, but it loses its UDP and is bumped down to the 3GB plan.

I was planning on holding onto a couple of these lines once I am done getting my free Christmas presents in case the glitch closes so that I could get more money for them, but I worry that could happen.

I wonder if they would give us any notice?

Thoughts?

Marky sends his International FedEx with insurance, so that is why it is so high.

On swappa, the shipping is included in the fee so you need to be clear that international shipping is extra.

Can someone refresh my memory for what PDI stands for? Searched the thread and can't find it.

didnt know :apple: apple also makes the world connect.
"can you hear me now?"

Fiance is at the store trying to pick up a 6. They're telling here there is a 45min wait to call Verizon and activate the phone. Is Verizon system w/ Apple down? Or are they just clueless? She's not good with this stuff anyway so who knows what is actually happening. I'm stuck at work.

Since when does af&t not allow a UDP line via transfer of billing ? I just did one and UDP was intact.

PDI = Provisional Device ID - it is a fancy term for dummy ESN.

When the Apple employee scans the phone box, does that create a PDI? Just wondering since someone said they never activate the phone and have AOL'd the line without a phone on it.

Ok guys...can someone enlighten me?

I have a line with a number that I'm trying to keep so I'm doing the port out and port back in process using PagePlus. The first line went smooth. The second one was ported out to Page Plus. It is active and can make calls with the number I ported out of Verizon. When I go to my verizon that line is marked as suspended with the phone number that I ported out. How is that possible if the number was ported out and is now functioning in Page Plus? I'm trying to port the number back in from PagePlus but it's not working. I tells me this activity cannot be done at this time. I'm confused. When I did my first port everything went well. When I looked in myverizon the line was removed from the account. Why is this line on my second port stuck on myverizon?
