I totally agree and they should have had the app available with the download bundle - it just makes no sense that they would miss out on such a huge opportunity.......

I just notice today that despite "all" of Apples apps supposedly being iPhone 5 ready, the Apple Store app is still not at the right resolution. Perhaps they're adding this and passbook integration still?

For those of you that have installed passes and want to see the apps available that utilize passbook, open up the app store in the featured tab and swipe left to right on the top bar (above new and noteworthy). One of the categories is apps for passbook.

If they are gift cards, download the "Gyft" app, add your gift cards there, and from there you can add them to Passbook

That's just it, I don't want to have to download another app and sign up for another thing just to get my APPLE gift cards into Passbook. Should be able to open the Apple Store App and enter the code on the back of the gift card or even better just take a pic of the back and it gets automatically loaded into passbook. To me this should have been available from the start.

I have a Target RedCard debit card. Is this a card that can go into Passbook, and if so, how exactly? I can get Walgreens and Starbucks working, but not Target.

the target app has a section to register your red card

Can I delete the starbucks app once I add the card to passbook or does it link to the app? I was wondering because I will be using the card but won't be using the app for anything.

try it and see what happens - let us know!

I guess what I'm asking is will the card dissapear from passbook if I delete the app? Or will it still be in there and functional.

it will stay there

i restored my 4S as new and got a 5 and on both the walgreens card appeared before i installed the app

7th and high 30's here. smack in the middle of the starbucks on 7th and 38th and the one on 35th

when i set it up on my new iphone 5 last night i didn't add any favorite stores.
its a cool app but kind of useless in real life.

Lmao.

I'd be pretty poor if i worked that close to a Starbucks.

I try very hard not to go there more than once a day.. sometimes I fail at it LOL

It's great if you aren't located next to your "favorited" store. This way when you walk up to starbucks the notification comes on the lock screen and you can pay that way. Since I work so close to this store, I'm going to "un-favorite" it and just bring up the app/passport manually.

Yeah, I have it registered inside the app, but where in tarnation is the button to push to put that RedCard inside Passbook?

The guy never tried it because there isn't one. All the Target Passbook card does is give easier access to the coupons, but even that doesn't work because the mobile coupons don't refresh? Mine are stuck at 9/28 in Passbook but 10/15 in the mobile app. Great stuff huh?
