So he's lying about his battery life because "the Apple fanboy reviewers" (whoemver they are) said otherwise?

No he's using the old Applefanboy logic that if it's not happening to him, it's not happening to anyone. Hence the reason he referred to my complainant about the battery as
. Just because someone is happy with their battery life doesn't mean all those complaints about the battery life are invalid. Back to the Lada - my Grandad had one for 15 years and it never broke down, does this mean all Lada's are reliable? No it doesn't.

People complained how iOS 6 was simple, boring, horrible multitasking.

Now people are complaining about battery in iOS 7? Really? It will use more battery!!! Full multitasking, transparency, others. Okay maybe Apple can fix a little of the battery drain but what do you expect?

What would you like? iOS 6 or 7?

People aren't happy cause apple never finds a way between, they are always too much or too less. Ios 6 is fast, not buggy but boring and restrictive and now ios 7 is not boring and restrictive BUT it's buggy and slow. They always exagerate, btw, I am really happy on 6 right now.

iOS 7 is the best! I love lowering my standards and embracing mediocrity. Why go to nice restaurants when you can go to McDonalds? Woohoo!

I guess you missed that most people who want iOS6 back (at least until Apple fixes iOS7 with subsequent releases) complain about the slow performance, the useless calender app and the cumbersome music app.

Why should we be beta testers for an OS that is clearly not ready for release yet?

Do people not realize that Apple completely rewrote iOS in a few months? Give them a break

This is exactly what we mean. iOS7 still needs a few more months of development to mature. Meanwhile, people who want to downgrade to iOS6 (so that their expensive phone can get useful again) should be free to do so.
Apple should give iOS7 more time to mature before they force it on people.

I'm sorry, but how is a phone that costs the same as Android flagships but with better build quality, support, and longetivity expensive? The iPhone is honestly the cheapest Apple product, just consider all it's aspects.

Nobody forced someone to click update. They shouldn't have done so. Yes there are annoyances in iOS7 but people forget how horrible iOS 6 and 5 were.

Finally, I don't think you know what a beta tester is or how an OS cannot be perfect.

I like it a lot. I welcome the change and yes there are some things I am getting use too, but over all happy.

I think people just need to give it a while.

I am hoping to be happier today than yesterday or the day before. My hope is to be happier each day. I get upset when I am not as happy as yesterday.

Oh no not this samsung marketing bs again.

People said the same crap when ios didn't have the background app refresh. Now when it gets it, it looks like the threshold for "true multitasking" has changed. Absolute rubbish.

Rubbish?
I don't care. if I can see two things at once I will call it multitasking.
I will be watching a movie on top while surfing on the bottom.
I watch tv a lot on my phone. Multi window will make it more efficient for me.

How is it even possible for a normal human being to look at two different forms of content, and actually soak them in, at the same time?

Actually, no matter what folks think, there is some recent research that they can't. And concentration levels for either of the tasks attempted is significantly diminished...causing both tasks to suffer the effects of diminished concentration.

I know I should be providing source for my assertions...I will try to find my sources and post them up in a bit. In the meantime...take it for what it's worth!:D

EDIT: Here, here, and here are some sources. Not actually the one I was seeking...but a start.

To be fair, iOS 7 is not perfect. It's not even clearly superior to iOS 6 (look & feel, not features). I never criticized iOS 6 so my choice would be iOS 6 with all the features of iOS 7 but I can never choose so I moved on, and criticize what I found annoying.
Go to daringfireball and read an article about how a 4 years old (a daughter of an NOKIA exec nonetheless) can learn iOS 1 INSTANTLY. Really show how good & intuitive iOS 1-6 is.

of course you can't focus on two things at time, but it does't mean multi-windows not useful. It is useful when you need, for example, you looking at a shopping site, fond product you like, looked at the price and you want calculate the after tax price.

In iOS, you need either remember the price or copy the price, then go back to springboard, open calculator, calculate the price, then go back to Safari to buy stuff.

With multi-window in Note 3 or other, all you need to do is use S-pen, draw a small box and tap calculator. You are done by this point. This is much more efficient way to multitasking than switching app around all the time.

Or you could use an app that has THAT function built in. Problem solved. And you don't have to even carry a pen.

You tell me which app as calculator build in? Even if this app has calculator build in, you tell me which app enables me do everything?

Also you don't need carry S-pen around, mall you need to do is eject the pen use or and out back to your pen slot.

I may not be sure but by the time you eject your pen and do all the stuffs then put the pen back in I might actually finish that tax calculation before you. And I'm not even kidding.

You'd think that. Here is the case, when you used the S-pen and the multi window, you will know how good it is.

Multi-Window is available with S4 as well. All you need to do is sliding your finger from left edge of the screen and tap calculator form the app selection shad.

By the way, we not just talking about one particular case, we are talking about general usage. Multi-Window does not make sense with small phone like iPhone, it make total sense with big phone and tablet.

iPad should totally have multi-window solution and upcoming 4.7 inch iPhone 6 would also have some short of multi-window thing.

I know multi-window is Android thing and pure Android doesn't have this yet, but after using few days with my friend's Note 3, I fall in love with multi-window solution. I just so wish this comes to my iPad and Nexus 7

To be honest, this is not the first priority I want from iOS. It's not even my first top 5. And no pen for me if we can not use it in everything as good as we use the real pen. If that's not the case then it's another nuisance thing to bother.
But to each his own so... cheers.

People complained how iOS 6 was simple, boring, horrible multitasking.

People complained that iOS was boing and that it needed a refresh it got one then pople complained they didn't like the look and wanted the old look. No pleasing it is what it is. Personly I love iOS 7 use it on iPad and iPhone. No problems.
You guys need to understand two things ASAP:

1. There are different groups of people.
2. People are more vocal when dissatisfied.

There are huge swathes of "people" who are perfectly happy now that it has a more modern look. These are pleased.

There are also yet other groups who liked iOS 6 more and always did. These were pleased before.

And then there are people who're mostly happy with iOS 7 and just hope that their battery life will be improved. These are mostly pleased, but using their right to voice a negative opinion because it may impact their daily usage.

So...

Please stop going on with this "people are never happy" fallacy.

You aren't talking about a single man who keeps being angry about iOS! "I want change! Ugh, no not that change! iOS 7 sucks now! I want to go back!" <-- This is hardly what is happening here. Problem is that you're taking everyone and trying to lump them together as a single person.

That's as for the complaint topics... As for frequency... The more users there are of something, the more often you'll keep hearing complaints. iOS is so big that you'll constantly hear complaints if you care to look for them. That's not because people are whiny in general. It's just because there are so many of them. 1% of millions complaining = daily complaint posts in web forums.

It's true that people can't concentrate on multiple things at once. But there are uses for multiple windows open and currently running. Research, copy/paste from one app to another, comparisons, etc. Just being able to keep my ewallet open and visible while buying something online would be a real boon.

Actually, you can access the calculator from Control Center. Edit: I just launched the calculator on my phone and found that I can also paste a number into the place where you can see either a number that I entered or a number that resulted from a calculation.
