Actually, you can access the calculator from Control Center.
No, it will take you to the calculator app... if it opens small widgets... i will happy

Yeah, that's what I meant.
Do people not realize that Apple completely rewrote iOS in a few months? Give them a break
Oh please, why don't you give 'people' a break.
I like it, but only after an initial shock in the eye sockets. Eventually, you grow used to (for whatever reason, and I'm actually afraid to speculate )
Functionally it's fine but there are some awfuly strange graphics.
Like the Calendar? It's like they overcompensated away from the skew crap to the point where there is nothing but empty space, so if your schedule is uneventful it's very lonely... out there in space
But it's just colors so you get used to it pretty quick if you are forced to stare at it like I am![]()
I'm sorry, but how is a phone that costs the same as Android flagships but with better build quality, support, and longetivity expensive? The iPhone is honestly the cheapest Apple product, just consider all it's aspects.
Nobody forced someone to click update. They shouldn't have done so. Yes there are annoyances in iOS7 but people forget how horrible iOS 6 and 5 were.
Finally, I don't think you know what a beta tester is or how an OS cannot be perfect.
Of course. One size doesn't fit all. Nothing will every make everyone happy. As always, consider the source.People Are Never Happy!
So he's lying about his battery life because "the Apple fanboy reviewers" (whoemver they are) said otherwise?
It's true that people can't concentrate on multiple things at once. But there are uses for multiple windows open and currently running. Research, copy/paste from one app to another, comparisons, etc. Just being able to keep my ewallet open and visible while buying something online would be a real boon.
of course you can't focus on two things at time, but it does't mean multi-windows not useful. It is useful when you need, for example, you looking at a shopping site, fond product you like, looked at the price and you want calculate the after tax price.
In iOS, you need either remember the price or copy the price, then go back to springboard, open calculator, calculate the price, then go back to Safari to buy stuff.
With multi-window in Note 3 or other, all you need to do is use S-pen, draw a small box and tap calculator. You are done by this point. This is much more efficient way to multitasking than switching app around all the time.
Apparently you seem to be stuck in iPhone OS 3 era. There is a new multitasking view, control centre, and the multitasking view.
I actually find IOS 7 great. Haven't had a single issue with it. I ran the beta and now the full version and still all good.
There are different people you know--some that actually liked or at least didn't have any issues with iOS 6 and prior iOS design. There are even some that did want a change, but not necessarily the type that iOS 7 brought with it--after all, wanting something different doesn't mean you would be more than happy with anything different. That's not how it works in real life with anything at all.People complained how iOS 6 was simple, boring, horrible multitasking.
Now people are complaining about battery in iOS 7? Really? It will use more battery!!! Full multitasking, transparency, others. Okay maybe Apple can fix a little of the battery drain but what do you expect?
What would you like? iOS 6 or 7?
A large majority of the average joes...HATE IOS 7.

Got galaxy note3. I'm having a lot of fun with it. My first Android phone. There is so much customization you can do. There isa setting menu for everything!
My parents would not be able to operate this as easily as they do their ipads.
Android and iOS are very different and each has its own advantages. Technology is advancing and I love it! (Of course except for iOS 7)I should Thank iOS 7 for giving me a motivation to explore Android side of the tech world.
