I'm still guessing that the times posted on Engadget are accurate. There are only 4.5 hours until the 18th in India.
If the release time was 1pm PDT that would mean that the release date in India would be the 18th rather than the 17th.

Because of the time differences, the last minute of the 17th in India is 13:29 CDT, 18:29 UTC. So they still have 4 and a half hours left... damn!
Just hit 12am on the 18th here in AU and nothing.
I suspect 10am PDT (3am AEST) for release.

You work for apple or something. I mean all this is hear say that anyone is posting at all. I mean there is not a 100% set time at all anywhere. I know this from working in the computer field for so long so much can go wrong with doing stuff like this. Been there done it.
Lol I know that feeling, it gets to 6 and the connection just drops off to like 0.5mb. Makes doing anything nearly impossible!!!!

I object to your last bit about "hating today's youth". First of all, my dear sir, I know some teenagers can act in a quite, say bizarre manor. But that is simply because they were not well "trained", or educated. Secondly, saying that you "hate" a certain racial/religious/etc. group is against the UN law. Look it up. I didn't want to waste my time. Basically, I can report you leave you to the authorities. Be more responsible! Get a job! Try going to University!

It's now 7:20am (which means those predicting 7:15am were wrong), and the 3.0 update is still not out. What is Apple doing? Most people get up early in the morning and do their jobs! But if you work and Apple and it's software update day, everyone decides to not set their alarm clocks and sleeps in?
No! Because the only purpose of 3.01 would be to block the free tethering!
