i feel like my whipe iphone 4 was fresh looking for a while then it just started to look not so fresh. idk if the white has actually become less white or if ive just become so used to looking at it every day.

i scraped all the built up gunk and crap from the small crevases and in the corners of the bezel with a paper clip and its feeling pretty fresh right now. i think its the mico imperfections that add up and take away from the products overall beauty.

im going with black for the 5 tho cuz the black always looks black, even if i am just going crazy.

To follow up, I went to actually see the iPhone today. Once again, I was disappointed by the white. So I definitely agree with OP. I'll be getting black again. Not a huge problem. I guess the majority like the "warmer" white, but mark me down as wishing the white iPhone was a little more white.

While I'm wishing, I actually wish they'd offer the iPhone in colors like the touch. My old iPod mini, in anodized blue, is still my favorite looking Apple product.

Actually the Galaxy S3 is Spunk White

wtf is spunk white?

you people are all being ridiculous. the white, being white glass, will show as whatever light is present at the time. outdoors, on a sunny day, it is BRIGHT WHITE. indoors, with slightly yellow fluorescent lighting, it looks slightly creamy. at night, in a bar or club with blue neon lighting, it takes on a bluish-white hue.

Did the Foxconn workers have anything to do with that?
