I too have this issue the majority of the time when my wife attempts to call me. We both have Verizon iPhone 5's. The interesting thing is that the calls always go through when she calls my Google Voice number which just forwards to my mobile number. Has anyone noticed that this only occurs from cellular callers vs landlines? (Which is the way Google voice calls route)

unfortunately I've experienced it with both mobile and landlines.

Yes, this is why beta testing should never be done on a primary device. I'm sure most people on this thread have at least 2 ios devices that can support ios7, if you plan on running it why not put it at your secondary device (iPad, ipod touch, older iphone, etc.), that way you don't miss important things.

While generally/usually true, on the other hand if pretty much everyone ran betas only on non-primary devices (which usually might but even have a cell connection, or at least usually won't be used to place/take calls) then somewhat sporadic and maybe even limited but still rather severe issues such as this one might not really surface or be noticed early enough and/or by enough users to really identify the issue and what might be causing it.

same issue

after i upgraded to beta 3 i met the same problem with my phone 4s with the carrier China Telcom...just guess what did i do...i had downgraded to IOS 7 BETA 2 and have found that missing incoming calls is gone.:)

I was previously having this problem but just starting the other day it started working randomly. I was just gonna accept the fact I couldn't receive calls and I didn't do anything to try and fix it. Running beta 3 on verizon 5

Unfortunately usually it stops working pretty much as randomly as it might start. Hopefully the next beta update brings an actual fix for this issue in it.

I specifically made an account to post and follow this thread. This is driving my nuts, running beta 3 on Verizon. Some people have posted about reverting back to beta 2, may I do that not using the developer site? Because thats down for maintenance

If you have the beta 2 file saved locally already then you should definitely be able to do it.

This happens to me on my T-Mobile AWS iPhone 5, with my TMo SIM and my AT&T SIM. I've tried some of the solutions offered in the thread and nothing has worked for me :/

Verizon iPhone 5 calling Verizon iPhone 5 (beta 3) goes directly to vmail.

I'm not getting many of my phone calls. I'm changing my voice mail to say that my phone isn't working well.

Its a good thing I don't like talking on the phone. :p

You might want to give voicemail through Google Voice or YouMail a shot in that case as it can set it up to do that and (among a few other customizable and potentially useful things) still notify you if you missed when someone called but didn't end up leaving a voicemail.

I ended up reverting to beta 2 today. Did a backup of 3 restored 2 and then restored the backup. Relatively painless and now calls work.

i haven't read through this entire thread, but i just wanted to post a temporary fix that works for me...how long it keeps my phone working, im not sure...so i do it every few hours..and i'm not having anymore problems receiving calls (verizon, iphone 5).
go to settings>do not disturb> enable it, then disable it.

i posted this on another related thread, but i figured i'd throw it on here too. emphasis on the word "temporary". everytime my girlfriend would call me, it would ring, and go to voicemail without any notification of a missed call. she would text me saying she tried to call...after messing around a bunch, this is what i finally came up with. i also tested it from my work line. called my phone...iphone doesn't ring, no missed call notification. i enable/disable "do not disturb", then call my phone again from the same work line, the call goes through.

Like i said, it isn't permanent, which is why i just do it every few hours. Hope this helps.

Interesting. I found that any second consecutive call goes through without changing anything. Again, it is only temporary though. It seems to reoccur after a little inactivity.

That's probably bc the default setting of do not disturb allows for the second consecutive call to go through. I know you have DND off, but makes sense.

I have DND to allow calls from contacts, but when its off I still often get undelivered calls from contacts. If this is somehow DND related--where it sometimes behaves like it's on even when it's off--it seems like it would be in some weird way as it would seem some parts of it would work (like second calls getting through) but others wouldn't (like letting contacts through when set to do so). Hard to say if that would be the case or if there's something else entirely or in addition in play.

Well, I played around with DND settings as well as simply turning on and off randomly and unfortunately while it seemed like at times calls were coming through fine, some calls were still not able to get through at other times--basically (and unfortunately) no different than before. Seems like DND might not really be related to this, or at least playing around with it doesn't really seem to make that much difference ultimately (at least it didn't for me).

I know it might be too early to tell but has this issue been resolved in beta 4?

I am waiting on some further confirmation on this myself. I received almost 0 calls with beta 3, had to roll back to beta 2.

To fully confirm this we'll probably need multiple reports across a time period of probably at least a few days. Although ultimately, for those who were experiencing the issue, the true confirmation would be whether or not they still the issue themselves. Hopefully it's fully resolved for good and for everyone.
