I took this in 1992, my memory says it is the cathedral, I do know for sure that I was in Christchurch back then - but @scottnz please correct me if I am wrong ...

Yes, that definitely looks like Christchurch Cathedral. After the earthquakes “they” spent 9 years arguing about whether to demolish it or rebuild it. When I visited in 2019 it was still in ruins, but finally the rebuild is going ahead, thankfully. As close to original as possible, while adding earthquake strengthening I think. It won’t be finished until 2028 though 🙄

OMG! Flashbacks to one of the houses I grew up in. Mom demanded they buy it because it had so much green in it. Our next home had no green in it. Extended family pointed that out. 'Yeah, I got so sick of it!' mom said...
But these crystals are pretty funky. By careful though: "Autunite is a radioactive orthorhombic mineral which results from the hydrothermal alteration of uranium minerals. Used as a uranium ore, it was first discovered in France in 1852." Get that healthy glow...
