Photo of 9.5" Mac Netbook?

i'd never buy that.. even the Samsung NC10 looks better than that!

actually, looking at that apple logo.. it's got a line through it, meaning it's NOT apple 😀
 
That doesn't look very real to me. If Apple were to create a NetBook, they'd make it out of aluminum to make the NetBook more lighter and so that they've got another Mac to add to their futuristic aluminum line. Then again, they could use plastic to cut down costs. But yeah, that pic looks a little suss.
 
I like how mid page 2 everyone is talking about how it's a wooden model by some kid for art class after we all figured it out, then later on people are again clamoring about how it's fake.😉

This story turned out well.😀 Maybe we all need to calm down a bit instead of jumping all over everything. Perhaps this is a sign...

Both of those reasons; I think, make it clear that this is a fake.

However, I hope that an iPod Touch 'like' device with a ~9.5" screen is the big surprise that Apple Inc. is cooking up. I would buy it in a heartbeat 😱
 
Saw something very odd last week.

Guy sitting in a cafe, by the window using a small 10" or under laptop. What was odd, is that it had a curved back, shiny black plastic with the Apple Logo smack bang in the middle. The curve to the lid looked akin to the iPhone back, but obviously larger.

Apple logo indeed looked lit, and I glanced at his screen and he was running OSX. He was deep in conversation on his phone, so I didn't bother him, and we were running out to catch a show.

But boy it looked different to what I've seen before, and first time I've ever seen anything that could even be considered a prototype out in the wild.

Few caveats though, he was in London (not well known for spying on Apple tech) and sitting in a cafe for all to see. He could be running his own hacked up machine also - or I could have had a extra-super-mega strength coffee and halucinated the whole thing.

Odd, and not saying I have anything confirmed/right or real - but thought I'd share 🙂

And the fat iPod nano struck felt "wrong" to me and many others when early images of it surfaced. So that's far from a perfect indicator.
 
I don't know whether this is fake or real.
I just want to remind you that a few months ago, a picture appeared featuring one of the new unibody MBP and it was also fake according to all of you. It was so obvious to all of you it was ugly and fake and bla, bla, bla. Of course many of those who said it was ugly, run to the store the minute it was released, because something ugly becomes pretty with a real Apple stamp on it.
Seriously, I don't see any obvious reason why this should be fake.
Do you really think that someone trying to fool everyone is gonna make the mistake of putting there a logo that looks odd?. I's probably an effect of the bad camera/ crappy light condition combination. Or, maybe, it is a fake, but don't speak so loud. You have been wrong in the past.

Except that we know it's fake. It's a wooden mock up with the details penciled in.

God I hate to post this into a thread about a fake Apple Netbook, but here: http://mydellmini.com/forum/surgery-for-apple-logo-t5405.html

Take a Dell mini 9, put os x on it, and have some fun with an ebayed lid. You most likely saw the A90 Vostro version of this, or someone who had a black mini 9.

Its not an Apple, its a Hackintosh Netbook.
 
I would LOL if this was actually the real thing, lol... bet those who complain it looks 'ugly' and stuff will still buy it 🙄
 
It looks just like a macbook. The screws and speakers are in the exact same place. The white surrounding the logo looks grainy so could be photoshopped on. The scale on the ruler could be wrong to make it look small. Finally, it is just on a white background, which to me isnt as convincing as if there was a 'proper' background like on a desk or something.

Like other have said, Im sure it would be aluminium
 
If you're gonna do a mock up, at least mac it the aluminum color. White is too over-rated now. I like the new silver and black look.
