I do not have a Flickr account (i use facebook to share my photos with friends/family)..so uploading from a url is out - unless i can use the facebook photo url?

when i try to add as an attachment, it says, "..files uploading - please wait..." forever and then nothing ever happens..could be that the file is too big?

sorry, hate being the noob of the group..

This tower was silhouetted in the original image, I was stunned at how much I could get out of it in post, while bringing out more detail in the highlights.

I give full credit to Adobe and the 5D Mark II on this one.

Some real good ones today.

Doylem, that pub looks very enticing, if I was strolling by, I would stop in for a pint.

mtbdudex, that airshow one is fantastic. The colors are incredible. Wings over Houston is in a couple of months, I am buying a special dawn on the flightline ticket.

Dale, I know I said before I would help you rewrite the flickr.com instructions if I figured them out. Well I did, so let me write the steps down/make a tutorial and I will send it to you. Just remind me as I am going to be a busy chef for the next couple of days, but I will do it.

Mine for today.

EXIF Summary: 1/40s f/2.4 ISO100 3.85mm

Pan seared Gulf Snapper, sauteed sweet potatoes and arugula, white beans and coconut curry cream.

I took this with my new iPhone 4. I am really impressed with the camera on the new iPhone. Hipstamatic is pretty darn cool too. I learned about Hipstamatic from this forum, I do not remember who first talked about it, but thank you!

Try dragging the photo from Facebook to your desktop, then uploading the attachment from your desktop.
If you have any kind of privacy on your images, Macrumors is treated as an outsider, it won't be able to view the image directly from Facebook.
Uploads to Facebook are compressed, so for qualities sake, it's probably best you upload your original image if you still have it.

Great color! I just keep staring at the picture looking at the depth and texture the water brings. Did you see the leaf and take the picture or did you add the water to fit an idea you had?

I was using some macro extension tubes and searching for something interesting to photograph and found that leaf :), I didn't add the water.

Love it Doylem. The sheep makes it perfect! :)

Very nice!

Ditto, great colours!

It is probably beaucase the file is a jpeg more than jpeg 1.14 MB - -limit as specified in the mange attachments window to down sample the image in photo shop or whatever you use so the file is less than 1.14 mb

Here's my "airshow shot", taken 30 seconds prior to the family shot I posted earlier, this was literally just 15-20 seconds after the rain stopped.

You can see all the people still under the B-17 who took shelter, now if that guy with the green umbrella just was not there......

Busker from Canterbury (UK), very interesting person, a local legend because of his surreal performances, seen here very much more sombre (but no less drunk...)

Took the liberty of adding a little Content Aware and Clone fine tuning and no more umbrella person. Nice colors and can almost feel the clear rain cleaned air...
