Hey everyone.... I'm having a hard time posting images... I just got my new iMac, so I'm sure it's just something simple I'm missing here! When I go to "Manage Attachments" and try to upload a photo from iPhoto, it either times out, says there was an error, or that the image size exceeds the size limit... Anyone have any advice?? Thanks!

I don't usually attach photos to posts, but if your file size is too big it will probably reject it (bigger than 1.14 mb.)

Your best bet is to link to your images from an online photo hosting site by clicking the "insert image" icon and supplying an image url.

This is trippy... it had me staring for a bit... nice symmetry in the reflections. I wasn't sure how to sort it out at first, since it behaved a bit like an optical illusion in my mind, but the distortion in the reflections pulled my feet back to solid ground. This is a very cool image.

Been out of the photo loop for awhile, hoping to jump back in!

We've had some amazing lightning storms over the past week. I never seemed to be in a good place with my camera to get a lot of the action, but here's one I did manage to get.

The image is a section of the office building across the alleyway from where I was staying on vacation . Imagine what went on inside my head the first morning I opened the blinds and saw a whole building like this . Reminded me of something by MC Escher . Had to get a picture .Actually lots of pictures , this being IMHO the best of the lot . Glad you liked it

I've been focusing on learning how to work with different sources of light, today was bright object in dark room.
I wanted to capture motion of the flame so I slowed the shutter a tad and blew on it, minor processing in levels in Lightroom, and warmed up the tone a little.
The one thing I'll definitely change in the future is choose more interesting subjects, the only candle I had at home was a tealight, I would like to have had one with more interesting features and made out of a softer wax.
I'm a learner, so C&C always welcome!
