Very surreal. I like it.

I love the sky's colour in this one. Very cool.

Here's mine for tonight: this is the frontman for a local garage rock band called The Ex-Boyfriends. I'm actually surprised how this one turned out, considering it was late on a Friday night and I was neither focused nor stable. :D Even though it's not technically perfect, I'm still drawn to it, for whatever reason, whenever going through my photos.

This is the scene I came across after I finished work, the roof top car park totally flooded.
Another front of storms was bearing down on me when I took this shot so I had to act fast.

Reverting to a duck theme from earlier in the year ... there was some excitement on the pond today.

Something is wrong with the feathers on the bottom duck. Is this some sort of composite by any chance?

Hi. PhotoBucket is a site that has caused other users of this forum problems. Either post your photo attached or try Flickr or ImasgeShack.

I like how the mallard males are in focus, and those colorful ducks.... WOW they seem so fake-ish. Great shot!

The garish ones are Mandarin ducks. It looks a little over processed on the bottom one, but they really look like that.

Learning how to use my new camera. So here's one from a noob.

I'm familiar with Mandarin ducks, it's the wing feathers that don't line up w/ the body back toward the middle almost to the tail. It's like 2 photo's were merged and it didn't quite get it right.

Nice photo. Welcome to the forum. Keep it up and show us your stuff.

Thanks AxelMonkey. The colourful ducks are Mandarin ducks (as I learned on this forum earlier in the year).

No, this is not a composite. I think I know which part of the photo you mean, though. I'll take a look at the original when I get home.

Update: just saw Designer Dale's comment. I think the photo may be a bit over-processed - I probably went a bit heavy on the Edge Sharpen in Aperture, and that combined with that duck being out of focus had that result.
