Awesome... at first I thought this was just another bokeh christmas tree, but then I saw the in-focus image on the guys' phone... sweet!
I haven't been here for a while, as too busy with other stuff. However here's one from last weekend.

This type of cloud showed up with the Astronomy Photo of the Day app I have on my iPad. It's called a Super Cell.

My friends have been doing this every year for a bit now, and keep going bigger! This year, they worked on it 24-hours straight through, 70 man-hours total, spent about $250.

This morning's commute:
Bloomin' snow...
It also snowed here again night. Played hookey from work midday and took a ride into the mountains south of where I live and ran upon this scene. Water sprinklers still going strong in a mountain meadow! I had some trouble with the exposure in the mid day son, so I played around with some PP and did as best I could.
It's an old one but I was just able to post it now.
