Honey, did you hear something?

We had our first substantial snowfall here this morning. Got out to the local park for a stroll with the camera. I messed up and left my lens case with my primes at home, so I had to make do with my crappy old zoom  . Won't make that mistake again (at least i hope not :p ) Anyway, I ended up with a few decent shots.

This is actually a an extremely tight crop since I only had my 35-80mm zoom and forgot my 135mm prime.

Though as a personal criticism, I think I should have used a smaller aperture. The middle of the fork is a bit too blurry for what I would like. Oh well, such is the learning process.
