You nailed the exposure - the framing just confuses me - more pillar than bride, plus they are the same color so there is a significant amount of distraction.

The sun sets over the Coast Mountains and Baffen Island behind a still Kitsilano Beach Pool in Vancouver Canada.

Very nice shot, but has somebody been changing the name of the islands up there? That is likely Bowen Island.
