I dont know why...

but my roommate skates like Michael Jordan shoots, lol. I shot this in RAW and tried tweaking it, but couldnt get the sky to look more natural. Any suggestions would be great.

Red Winged Blackbird. Yakima, Washington. These guys are a pain. They never stay put. When I raised my camera to this perch, it flew off. So I waited until it was on it's other perch, raised my camera, then switched to this perch for the shot. My tripod was back in Tacoma.

^^Very pleasant. Do you mean playing with aperture in order to get a narrow depth of focus, or playing with the Apple software Aperture?

Greg

Thanks for the comment. I was playing with the lens opening although the photo was processed with Aperture 3 ! I like the program. It works as well as I need it to.

Another bird

I figured I'd keep with the recent bird theme. I got this guy while walking down the beach in Cancun, Mexico on my honeymoon a couple months ago. I like it, but i'm not sure if a crop wouldn't be better to bring the focu more on the bird.
