Really nice. How did you get the dark background? Did you darken it in post? Regardless, it's a captivating image.

Wow there have been some great photos. I really liked Shacklebolt's 9 inch nails, weazle1098's south coast, cyrusmekon's Sunrise over Port Douglas & alvse's Esperance, Western Australia. I haven't posted on here for a while, nor have I even looked at this thread for a while, and whilst I am glad the great photos are still being posted, I was a little disappointed that the original format isn't followed anymore.... does anyone else like seeing how the photo was taken (exif) and where the photo was taken?
From iGary's very first post:
"Please use this format when posting:

Blue Angels Flight Demonstration, U.S. Naval Academy/Severn River 5/24/06

And if you like, post your EXIF data, so others may learn if they want to - but please use the following format (optional). If you do not know what you have or only have a couple of bits, post those, but in the order listed below, leaving out the titles of what you do not have, please.

Camera: Canon EOS 20D
ISO: 400
Focal Length: 220mm
Shutter/Aperture: 1/1000 @ f11
Lens: EF 100-400L f4.5-5.6 IS USM"

I haven't been out for a while, but plan to get back into it, heres one from a couple of months ago.

Pt River, Port Adelaide 15/04/09

Stitch of 2 photo's, HDR of 3 for each.

Original photo's
Camera: Nikon D50
ISO: 200
Focal Length: 22mm
Shutter/Aperture: various @ f3.6
Lens: AF-S 18-55mm f3.5-4.5 ED

Oh and I don't mind constructive criticism...

Lovely shot Leia nice light in it. :)

As for the darkness in my shot, it mainly came out like that I had used fill flash but I did increase the black point slightly to give a bit more punch.
