I like the photo, but not the message. Horrible quote. Hiding the truth is half of lying, not of writing history. But again, it's a really nice photo. I attempted a dandelion shot last weekend and wasn't able to get anything this good.
The quote is a game I'm playing with some of my flickr viewers. Nobody guessed where the leaf quote was from so they got another from the same movie. The reason I picked this quote was because the photo was taken moments before a major storm hit. I used a flash with a warming gel to make it look like it was a warm sunny day and the location where I took the photo is the same place in my back alley where I usually put the garbage. So in a way I was hiding the truth.

Really beautiful shot Mr Doylem , stunning light and subtle colour.
Being a massive fan of both the Lakes and Photography I wondered if you had ever thought of having a website with your pictures catalogued into the different areas. It would be a fantastic tool for anyone wishing to visit the Lakes and give them an insight as to where to go and what to see.

I had to be quick to get this one. Parked my car near this horses field, he came trotting over as I was getting out of the car, then proceeded to "talk" like mr Ed.

Okay, so I just got my first "serious" lens, a Canon 35mm f/1.4L. Its a lot harder to go out there and find something interesting to shoot than it seems I thought. I am def still learning... Anyway, here is a statue I came across in the 30 mins I had to mess around with this thing last night...

Haha - I like the quote, for being so cynically blunt and matter-of-fact.
