Higgins Boat Landing Craft - originally found in Northern France, fully restored.

When you think about it, the men that were on the craft likely were KIA during the invasion - sort of eerie...

I've noticed Safari shows the pics I've posted more like what they look on my computer in iPhoto. Firefox makes the pics look lighter and more washed out.

Have you tried enabling color management in Firefox? set gfx.color_management.enabled to true (via about:config) and restart Firefox.

I noticed something really strange - when dragging a Safari window from one display to another, the brightness of images changes - it's not the display though, when it's half way you see the image change on both screens.

I'd imaging this is colour management of some sort…where do I go to change it?

What makes it weird is it only happens for my black and white long exposure posted back 3 pages. Is anyone else getting the same on that image?

I know this picture is a bit centered but in this instance I think it works.

How do you like it? C&C are welcome.

PS. Of course this pic is photoshopped but this girl has really blue eyes IRL! :)

A couple of guys playing the blues

Hope I'm doing this ok, got my new 70-200 f 2.8 and this is what I got, just wish had gotten a little closer.

Gave HDR a shot.

Starting to get pretty interested in photography. Might by a Nikon D40 to upgrade from this point and shoot.

Here's another shot from my yard (not in HDR, though):

Mine hope you like :)

Very nice shot and nicely processed too.

YET AGAIN WISHING THE NANNY-STATE MODS WOULD LEAVE THE DAMN TIMG TAGS OUT OF THIS THREAD! (except for when photos are quoted)

....but does anyone ever listen anyway.

Don't really want to get on my soapbox , but i couldn't agree with you more Eric. Fair enough if the image is way too big but I think most of us post in a size that would easily fit in the window of any normal display.
