I like the way the figues are positioned. I've read that Henri Cartier-Bresson (sometimes) used a finder on his Leica rangefinder camera which produced an upside-down image. It meant he could concentrate solely on composition, and the way the different elements of the picture came together. An interesting idea...

Wow... Sunday's post are great. Nice range of tones today.

Here is my submission. It looks a little odd because the distortion of the wide angle doesn't give consistent verticals:

Trespassing a bit in Derbyshire - Dec 2008

Feedback please?

Trespassing is good: walkers of the world, unite!

You've got to call the sheep if you want them to be more cooperative. First they look left - click - then they look right - click - then they look at you with that gormless* expression - click... :)

* Gormless: Yorkshire word for something a bit stupid (as is 'Doylem'...).

Thanks Doylem. I've read something similar myself. When he'd look at other photographers' work, he'd turn the images round to check composition. Upside-down they become abstract, so he could look for shapes and whether they worked together or clashed. I really ought to try it sometime.

Something similar to the flower Centaurea napifolia, haven't found the english name for it.

Only PP was exposure and crop. I think my flash made it that saturated.

nice I like it. i'd probably run through noise reduction just for the bokeh. very nice!
