Drove around this region in crazy circles through roads laid out like spilled spaghetti in an effort to find this church. I first spotted it a year ago from a distant hilltop while out photographing something else. I'm pretty sure that whoever built it was having a good laugh thinking about how many people would get lost trying to find it. This location is going on my 'four seasons' list: worth revisiting, methinks.

That is a beautiful church. You got it with just the right light. I get a real three dimensional feel from this picture.

Hey, hey, I said that because of the sweat on her cheek! Really!

I got this iPhone shot of an approaching storm a few minutes before it started dumping. I did get "caught" in the rain, but I had my umbrella with me.

I did a double-take when I saw this one. I was seeing a bunch of small field stones until I spotted the Lilliputian people ambling about!

Lovely light and charming subject, though it clearly needs some straightening (the water in the background is running uphill).

Squirell eating iceplant in San Diego

Terrific shot of a squirrel. It's great to be at eye level and so close that we don't even see the whole squirrel. Nice light, color, sharpness, and catchlight in the eye. Focus is spot-on. Nice composition that gives us a hint of his surroundings without presenting any distractions. Plus the squirrel is caught cutely grasping his little piece of iceplant as he gnaws on it. You really ticked all of the boxes here!
