This buck was crossing our front yard Wed 6/22 evening - it was getting dark.
I snuck around thru the garage, we locked eyes, I saw him pull his right rear foot up, took this shoot - as he held it there for 2-3 seconds, then he bolted.
T1i + 70-200 f2.8 L + 1.4 TC for 280mm, f2.8 (f4 with 1.4 TC), 1/50 sec, ISO800, handheld.
Cropped about 65% from original.
Still needed to pull up the exposure in PP 1.25, due to getting dark I could not use faster shutter.
Thanks Jason. I just met him that day. He works at the farm that our milk comes from. We happened to be going by it while picking my daughter up from camp, so we stopped at the source for milk. Note that I did all the editing on my iPad with PhotoForge and Snapseed (experimenting while on my trip).
Today's is my son and one of his cousins playing at a park.
