OK, my post today is two-fold. First, I have a question. My hard drive is getting full and I need to get an external, but I'm unsure if I need to go with FW800, FW400, or USB, and also if a 5900 rpm or 7200 rpm drive is needed. I started a thread in the Mac Hardware section here. I figured I would ask in here too since I may end up using it for my photos in the future and you guys would know best what I need to edit with Aperture.

Ok, on to my photo. This is another one from the Kennedy Space Center.

I'm having tons of fun with this thing. It had been sitting on my shelf for a while until my Alternative Processes class made me use it again. Best ever!

I did run across a site that can do lens cap conversions to make a Holga lens for a DSLR. A Google search should be able to find it again.

I'm sharing an iPhone shot today. I shot, clarified and polarized it with Camera+. That gave it the strong (and unrealistic) color, and the lens flare is typical iPhone camera behavior. I then cleaned it up and sharpened with PSE and Aperture. The lens flare was completely unplanned, but it was perfectly positioned with the cloud to make it look like a diving football player catching a ball.

I'm starting to get a collection of iPhone sky shots with added drama for effect. I'm going to make an effort to make these more often.

I recently purchased an iOmega ego blackbelt from B&H (actually it cost less than what it is listed for now). The 800 FW is the way to go for now. I am sure thuderbolt devices will be out in the near future, but at what cost and when is the question, which does not help you right now. Anyway, that's my 2c.:)

Despite the heavy editing, I really enjoy your photo. At first glance, I thought it was a boy jumping for a ball...

First Post, go easy.

Not sure if i uploaded this properly. But i'd love some feedback on the shot. Thanks in advance

I don't usually do heavy editing, but sometimes it produces something very interesting.

Not much editing on today's beyond the usual levels, contrast and sharpening edits I usually do. Times like this I wish I had a real macro lens, but I do like that I was able to get a lot of the web in this shot.

Hey, no offense taken. I know you're just trying to let me know the rules. I thought to were referring to the thumbnail rule, not the one picture per post rule.

Thanks for the tip on focusing on the eyes!
