I have uploaded the re-edit of this image and edited the post to use the new version. The halos are no longer there. Let me know if this is improved from what I had.

This version is much better quality, and I think you can probably see it too as we can. Good work.

Sydney's MCA in Vivid colour:

16mm F/2.8 Fisheye-Nikkor - camera was Nikon D3S. I can't tell you the EXIF because I seem to have mistakenly excluded it from this image...

This, the interior of Museo del Jamon, a popular tourist deli where you can enjoy the finest Jamón ibérico (Iberico Ham), marks the last of my Spanish photos...

Love this Doylem. Nice light (love the highlight on the house, though can't tell if it falls in the sun or if the white of the paint just shines through) and nice composition.

Mine for the day:

Oldish pic (though I don't remember ever posting it), but I've been looking back on some images and converting them to B&W.

Great shots! Can you post the Exif data? Love the exposure and FOV!

The sunset and boat is 135mm (from my 70-200mm lens), f/2.8, 1/160 and ISO 400. I chose the open aperture because I was doing it hand-held on a moving boat. I wanted to keep the ISO low but still get a decent shutter speed.

The Blue Angels shots are all f/8, varying zooms (usually between 120mm-200mm), ISO 200, and the shutter speed was picked by the camera as I was using aperture priority. I wanted to keep it at least 1/500, and most of them were 1/1000 and over.

Here's a gear down pass of the Blue Angles.

Nice scenery. Please show more.
The colors remind me of northern Norway ( 68 degrees)

Nice shot! I really want to visit Norway someday. I'm not quite north of the tree line here, about 64 degrees N (about 120 km south of Dawson City, Yukon, Canada). We get permafrost on the northern slopes and the sun doesn't set in the summer. It's quite a beautiful landscape. I have a few other shots posted on my flickr account, and will be adding more as the summer goes on.

Thanks for this! I think it really is a great shot and at the moment that lens is next on my list although I have literally bought one this week so I'll have to hold off for a bit!

Not taken anything really exciting recently but this is a headshot from 153 I had to take today!

Given that this weekend is Father's Day, I feel I must share a proud father picture. Here's my son on his first fishing experience. I must also give credit to my father for holding the reflector that provided the lighting for my son.

Immature Bald Eagle with fish

I was down at the dock shooting some incredibly tolerant young Mallards that were trying to catch a few Z's when I saw some large wings flapping in the water. I turned and tracked this guy, making a series of images of him carrying a fish. Unfortunately, this is the only useable image due to the horrible CA I get from this lens. I will be fixing that soon though...

My younger daughter just stood in the water for a long time listening and watching the waves come in.
