Love the pose, the expression, and the composition. Well done Jason. I'm wondering if it wouldn't have helped if you'd had one of your softboxes out there to light the face a bit more. the overall lighting seems a bit flat. what do you reckon?

Yah! Good idea. I'll try that next time I go outside with someone. I have yet to use my softboxes outside. I'll see what I can do about punching it up a bit. : ) I just wanted to show you guys I am getting better at framing :D ahahhah I'll have something cool later tonight.

BTW Mike. Good shot there lad. That is a very good HDR? The turtle by Perez is really awesome too. Great stuff today. Good birds too.

thanx for the kind words guys.

This turtle was just chillin on the beach when I went to Kaua'i for spring break. Living in Hawai'i definitely has its advantages. Too bad I will probably be going elsewhere for grad school in 2 years.

Otter tracks.

Well. It ain't spring here. Otter tracks. You can see how the animal runs for a bit then slides on its belly for a bit. Inverness Lake, Ontario. Late afternoon.

It was spring here...for a few days at least. And then it snowed again. This is what happened to all of the flowers that were fooled.

Those are all really sweet flowers photos! I can't wait to take some. I'm going to visit the Tulip Festival in Washington next weekend! Gonna take so many photos!

You Want Spring Flowers?

Miniature daffodils in Richmond Park. See the steam rising off the grass in the morning sun, in the background.

I guess I'll add to the flowers being posted. Mine are of the generally unwanted variety, though.
