Beautiful Doylem...great atmosphere! Reminds me of an oil painting that hung over our fireplace when I was a just a young lad.
 
This Sulphur Crested Cockatoo was putting on an amazingly loud performance for us during lunch the other day.

Very similar to one I've posted here a while back but I think I prefer this version with the bird in a slightly more engaging pose:

Evening Buttes

For those who care, this is a view towards the Sierra Buttes (California) from a ridge up near the South Yuba, about 2700' elevation. I've done my best to reduce the brown haze - insofar as I've been able to do with Aperture and Viveza, but really this calls for a PS layer/mask job.

The "Grand Prix Cycliste de Gatineau" was held today in my home town and is a closed circuit, road race. The race is reserved for international elite women cyclist.
