Sorry

I guess to you an "inn" would be a pub... I meant more of a bed and breakfast or hotel. It was an old mansion that had been turned into such. It was really nice... and haunted. Some lady supposedly appeared down a hallway every once in a while. But of course I was 18 at the time and I didn't take enough pictures so I don't know what it was called.

As far as the little town with a little church... I know, I know, pretty vague. All I remember was that It was a small town that had two churches (Protestant and Catholic) and we got the chance to go to one or the other. Not much to go on, I know. I guess that's why I can't find it. :D

^^^

Black Swan Hotel in Ravenstonedale? Kirkstone Pass Inn? Dale Head Hall Hotel? Dalston Hall? Gosforth Hall hotel? Moresby Hall? That's about it for haunted inns in Cumbria... :)

Fresh corn straight from the field to the consumer....the economies of scale do not yet apply...there is still time for a chat..

You didn't include the EXIF data, so we don't know if you would leave us nice camera if you would jump. If so, by all means jump. There are already more than enough photographers in this world.

( I like the idea of the photo!)

Did I forget to tell you to jump?

Haha I'll jump next time, I do not have a nice camera, it is a sony cyber shot. A simple point and shoot.

The colour of the leaves began changing even earlier in some places. ;) .

LOL, the smaller trees seemed to be more suseptable to the cold, and changed colors earlier. There was a lot of green on the bigger trees. I'll try again this week-end though...

Here's my attempt at photo-manipulation:

There's some parts I am not particularly happy about and I might change later. If there's anyone else here who does photo-manipulation any tips, criticism, or comments would be very appreciated!

P.S. I know the signature is big, disregard it if possible. It looks better than a full on watermark, imo.

I like the picture lots but I'm not so sure about the clown masks on the left.
Other than that it really speaks to me.

That is an awesome HDR of NYC. I think you should leave it the way it is, I like the gritty look.

On a less dark side, here's a shot from Hawaii.

Not really sure how to use this 15 mm fisheye, but I'm working on it.

Fun shot. Quick question for all you ichthyologists out there (as I'm sure there's tons on this board), do fish actually see as a fisheye lens does?

Novice that just liked this picture

Hi all;

I took this picture (which I think is the best I have ever) about 2 months ago. While exploring the macrumors.com site, I came across this board. While checking out some of the photos I thought this would be a good place to find out if I really should be excited about this photo. Anyone out there have any suggestions, comments, or pointers for me based on this picture?

Hi,
I am no Bresson, but like this thread cause it inspires me to want to take better pictures.
I would've cropped closer to the flower so the bee actually get's some focus.

Hope you drop by more often, there are some amazing pictures posted here, very inspiring...:)

You had more wind than I did when I was there, which helps. Sundown is the best time to catch a shot of McWay Cove. I like your shot. :).

Yeah, some onshore wind plus a strong high tide coming in really stirred up the cove.

Here's another shot from the trip: C&C very welcome.
