Thanks to all who have commented on my macro explorations, it's appreciated.

Taken yesterday evening, just prior to the sunset at the Onkaparinga Estuary. There is a new electric rail bridge that spans over one mile of it. The electric rail is not far off being put to use. There was a really weird haze around last evening too, couldn't work out if it was smog or something else, but it lifted about half an hour after taking this shot. :(

I wish I had taken this shot. I love the light and the composition. Did you do something in PP ?? Also like your B&W shot today.

Thanks for the comments. I did a bit of PP - cropped, a bit of noise reduction and raised the shadows a bit. All in Lightroom. Just to make it look how I saw it. I had to grab the shot as I liked how all of the alcoves had a person occupying them with the one guy stood in front of his. The fact that some of them made eye contact with me whilst the CCTV cameras loomed in the foreground made it come alive for me.

The black and white shot of the guy on the train had to be taken because he was so intense looking for the whole journey that I had to sneak a shot of him.

Love the colors on this one. You liking that Fuji?

Thanks! I don't know what the occasion was but the front was lit with the colours of the French flag.

Yes I am. Bought it as a back up for my 5DII and it's taken over! Do you have one?

No. I can't quite justify the price for a point and shoot when I've barely begun investing in my lenses for my T3i (and would like to go FF eventually).
But I've always been intrigued by these more compact cameras.

Here's an unusual portrait for you. My wife pulling her best photo face for me....

Mine for today. I originally went to the park because I had in mind to take a picture of a sundial for this weeks competition. When I climbed to the top of the hill, it wasn't a sundial but a map with arrows to points of interest. It's the brick thing on top of the hill anyway.

As always comments appreciated.
