it’s in the neighbourhood park that has a few sculptures. It’s a new park that opened around 2022-23 so it had a prism viewer so you can see rainbows on it.

Today’s Mtb ride, and yes this is an official Michigan DNR trail that crosses train tracks at this spot.
This is "the grab bear”, a wash bear that started off grabby, but is now very polite. I’ve known him for 4 years (something of a world record because they usually don’t return more than 2 years in a row). He’s a very nice guy and doesn’t mind being patted. (unlike most wild wash bears that can "bite you back to the stone age” if you try)

While the trip down to Apple Orchard Falls was fun, I usually parked here to jump on the Appalachian Trail for a quick day hike. Botetourt County, VA.
