I’m sure while I was taking that picture I was wondering what it was like in Florida at that time. ;)
I'm sure. I remember thinking about Florida while I was shoveling 28 inches of snow in a -30 degree wind chill :D

Now that I live here, I miss the change of seasons a lot, especially autumn.

Ah yes, the shovelling… the photo was taken 2 days after 32 inches of snow. I still hadn’t been plowed out. Even my monster Jeep couldn’t make it down my long driveway.

This is just a quick and dirty first try composite from my efforts the other night attempting to capture the Full Lunar Eclipse. I will refine this and do a version with a foreground over the next week or so. The weather reports weren't good, as far as cloud cover went, so I was thinking I may not bother with it. The afternoon ended up being sunny and warmish with only the odd cloud here and there. I got my gear ready just in case. Sunset was just before 6:30 and after that I was checking the sky every half hour. Just around midnight I decided I would give it a go so I made some coffee and some sandwiches and headed off. So anyway, long story short, I had to brave the cold, the wind, a heavy dew, sea spray (the sea was quite rough and the tide was coming in fast) and quite a bit of cloud just after the full eclipse. Anyway, I'm pretty happy with this first attempt.
