How many driverless cars has Google sold so far?
It's not innovation if I cannot buy it.
Apple doesn't want Microsoft to be embarrassed?

First, instead of a backlit Apple logo on the back of the display assembly as is typically seen on Apple's notebooks, there is a polished metal logo more like those seen on iPads, with iFanr speculating the change could be tied to the device's thinness.
So, despite the photographed prototype of the laptop shell we have here showing Apple moving to a polished metallic logo on the lid, they will likely continue to use the illuminated logo on the final design.
How can you ditch the light up Apple logo? That's almost iconic when you see a apple notebook, that sucks if true, not very innovative on ditching the light up Apple
I wonder what made them decide to do this?!
What makes you think Apple has decided this? Do you have inside info?
Going on the photos posted in the original post.
Why do you need a backlit Apple logo?No backlit Apple logo? NOT COOL APPLE!
Making a better, thinner, more efficient design has won over concerns of vanity.
You're crazy if you think Apple are going to go and redesign the entire device to have a glowing logo just because of a photo.
OK but I am not a photographer, I take photos with my phone and use it to upload to the cloud.SD Cards slots are used by photographers to transfer the images from the camera to the computer/cloud
It has a USB 3.1 connector, which can transfer data at 10Gbps (exactly the same speed as Thunderbolt) and can drive any Display Port monitor (exactly the same as Thunderbolt). No thunderbolt or way to connect to an external monitor?! Err, I don't get it. I literally use my MBA everyday but mostly have it connected to an external display at work. Surely they will allow for external display...
The only photo where you can see the thickness is this one:The display lid looks quite thick and bulky.
I mean really, how many different (but almost the same) Apple laptops do you need to chose from? Even smaller screen with a smaller keyboard, is that innovation?
The only thing interesting about it will be if it is ARM powered.
