I really like the champagne version of the new iPhone, but this slate one has me re-considering color choice (if it pans out to be a available color)
Hell yes-- that's the exact color combo that I want.
Now, what if--- this replaces the black model due to the chipping/scratching issues?
I emailed Tim Cook in December last year (without a response) to encourage him to offer a "platinum" version in this iteration of the iPhone. Not only would this be a different color, but have "platinum" features. I can't wait to see if these "graphite", "champagne" or hopefully "platinum" versions offer higher specs than the black/white combination. Went on to discuss some higher spec options, but yeah, no response from Mr Cook.
BWUAHAHAHAHA!!! nearly spit my drink. 3 snaps in a z formation! lmfao
I hope so!
All I really want to know is whether the UI colors adapt to the bezel depending on it's color, because the current color scheme looks out of place on a black bezel.

Last time I checked, this was their flagship phone. I'd rather associate dark blue plastics and a faux-brushed metal look with an inferior product.
So many options now. I'm not even sure which one to go for.
Then again, i will put a cast on it anyway.
Anyone prefer their phone without a case?
when is the last time we heard 1 more thing at an iphone event?
For me i honestly don't see the point in the different colours. Most people will use a case, and probably not a clear one, so all you'll see is the normal black front, unless you have a white one. Plus i really feel that a large amount of the hype this year is the colours, which isn't exactly "innovative"
Yup. It's just you. Those with working eyeballs find it understated & elegant. Also, those of us under the age of 70, would NEVER use the word bling, lol... stuck in 1997 much??
How do engineers change basic physics? Even the back of the HTC one isn't complete aluminum.
What do you mean by "higher specs"?
