Pick Up In Store Thread

Ok I'm freaking out right now. I checked my Apple account and it is still saying the same thing "processing" pick up date "9/19", and then i went to check my bank account and my Pending Authorization for the payment of my phone is not there anymore and the money was put back on my account??? WTF does that mean????? What should I do?

Did you use a debit card ? I would not be concerned.

I think it's because banks only keep a hold on your account for a few days

That's normal. The charge falls off after a few days. Happened last year to me too. Don't worry.

Getting back to the topic at hand, I've been watching my order, which is scheduled for pick-up on Friday...for no reason. LOL. Every time I log in, I silently ask myself "what are you doing? The release date hasn't changed." Ordered my cases late, so now I'm debating going early and taking a half-day at work. Decisions, decisions...

no, just swapped them afterwards. I spent time on the phone before trying to get it to work without activating it with the shipped SIM since it would have deactivated service on the device it was replacing that wasn't in my possession. No go.

It means you have chase bank and that you should calm down.

Yea I believe my Chase debit card was a also recredited. I guess they just have to swipe it when i buy it?

Store pickup - When are you going?

I am thinking of heading to the store at 6am tomorrow for pickup. Have a call at 9, and was hoping to be back by then. We'll see!

I know with the iPad air, I got a pickup notification at 5am or so. I am hoping to wake up to a pick up ready email, but should I still go even without it?

Why are people lining up for in-store pickup? Just show up anytime after you get the email. You have one reserved.

I asked apple, they said you can only pick up when you receive your confirmation email..but I will go to wait in line anyway because I know I can never fall a sleep before 11 am xD
