What year was this one? This years was good... I have had one already and I am aging one for one year... I usually buy two of them so I can do this. The Bruery is one of my favorite breweries in the area. Have yet to be disappointed.

Its this years, and yeah, pretty good. I do the same as you. I was irritated when the store in DC closed, but now all the bottle shops around the area get BT on release, so its easier to get.

Seriously... that is awesome!!!!! That makes it way easier to get!!! I used to be a hoarder member, and my favorite beer from them is Chocolate Rain. I was able to snag a bottle when I dropped my membership (to expensive)... that beer is something else!!! DE-FREAKING-LIOUS!!!!!

Had this yesterday, got it as a gift. Interesting flavour, wouldn't call it an IPA per se but Duvel is already plenty hoppy normally.

Not my favourite Duvel as my taste (and preference) runs to their more traditional beverages.
Nevertheless, I will readily concede that any Duvel is an excellent beer; do enjoy.

A little bit of a different picture this time: my latest thrift store haul 😉
Chimay, Orval, Duvel, Zundert, Straffe Hendrik, De Vijfhoeck, Gulden Draak, Kasteel, 100 Watt and Croy. All 50 cents per glass!

Gorgeous.
As it happens, I am the proud owner of a similar (if considerably less extensive) collection of Belgian beer glassware: Duvel, Orval, and Chimay are all present and correct, as is glassware from Westmalle, Delirum Tremens, St Bernardus, Trappist Rochefort, and Achouffe breweries.

And I failed to mention Carolus (a check of my glassware cupboard confirmed that I did indeed have it, tucked away, behind other, larger and more ostentatious glasses, and - quite inexplicably - had forgotten to mention it).

Had this Aldi Schultenbräu New Zealand IPA in the fridge for a while. Pretty good! Very cheap (€1)

The Veil, Thrown Thrown. A crisp DDH west coast IPA. 6.5% ABV. I can drink this all day its so good
