Normally I agree, but it states to drink from the can.

I like it from the can sometimes..
I do too! But I wondered why they would print something like that specifically on the can. Does it actually taste better that way? 🤔 Just something I've never seen before because most specifically say to pour it in a glass!

Anyways, I'm drinking a La Trape Blonde. Right now to finish up the weekend. I'm probably going to check out a local brewery in Eindhoven sometime next week if my girlfriend has time. I'll report back on that ;)

Personally, I always prefer beer (or wine) when consumed, sipped, or drunk from an actual glass, (in other words, no bottle, can, paper or plastic cup),

Do enjoy.

Lovely beer and a gorgeous glass.

I really like this can design. Drinking from the can though? Why would they want you to do that? 😆
Agreed.

The reason they say to drink from the can, and this is their wording from the product:
Why do I recommend that you drink it from the can? Quite simply, to ensure a delightful hop experience. The act of pouring it in a glass smells nice, but it releases the essential hop aromas that we have worked so hard to retain.

That said, I did pour one in a glass just to see if I noticed any difference in taste, and to be honest, I didnt. What I DID find is that I drank from the can much faster than I do when poured.

But you savour (nay, even consume) with your eyes as much as your mouth (or nose, as taste is also influenced by our olfactory senses).

This means (at least, to me, it does) that a drink sipped (and savoured) from a glass, better still, an appropriate glass, where its appearance can also be appreciated, is far to be preferred to a beverage that is slurped (for there is no elegant way to drink beer from a can) from a can.

Now, for a picnic, or when at the beach, or attending a festival, yes, well, of course, then, a can will come into its own.

Had Eritrean/Ethiopian food yesterday. Of course a fitting beer (or two!) wasn't out of the question

The food was insanely good too. Probably one of the best tasting foods I've ever had in my entire life. I'm not exaggerating!
