Got my Pitaka MagEZ 2 case with Magsafe for my iPhone 13 Pro yesterday. Zero issues. Couldn't be happier. Bought it off Amazon. Works perfectly with my phone and my Belkin Magsafe charger. Has the same issue with not working with all Magsafe stands due to the size of the camera bump. Adjust accordingly. Picked up a Proclip mount. Hopefully that works without camera bump size issues.

I suppose you got lucky. I was thinking of trying the MagEZ 2 case, but there’s been quite a few negative reviews on Amazon.

I saw those negative reviews. I definitely do not agree with them. I've used Pitaka for a few years now and this case on my iPhone 13 Pro is just awesome. Fit, finish and cutouts are perfect. No issues so far. If you get one from Amazon with Prime, you do have that great return policy.

i was also thinking of trying out their magez2 case to see how much stronger the magsafe attachment would be compared to the air case. the attachment on the air is plenty strong already, so it’d be more to compare the front lip in case it’s any better.

It's definitely stronger than the OEM Apple Leather Magsafe case. It also holds my Apple Magsafe Wallet very very strong.

I received the replacement case today. It is an incremental improvement at best. The edges/lips are not as sharp, but they still protrude too much.

The Air Case has been my go-to case the last few iPhones. Before the AirCase, I used the MagCase.

Not sure what I am going to do. I emailed them about it. I’ll see what they have to say before making a decision to keep or return it. I’ll most likely keep it, unless there is something similar out there.
So? What was their response to your email?

They haven’t responded yet, which is disappointing.

Having the screen protector helps negate some of the edge sharpness of the case, but it is not ideal 10 out of 10.

Pitaka got back to me after sending another email:

“Thanks for your feedback. Sorry that we didn't meet your expectations.
If you have any suggestion towards our products or our design, you are more than welcome to come contact us and we will listen to every single one of them and make sure that our next move is to the maximum benefits to our customer.”

They haven’t been listening to my suggestions, LOL! Anyway, I am going to keep it. The case is doable.

Just curious, are there similar cases available?

I believe Pitaka may have fixed some of the quality issues with the Pro Max Air case some of you were noticing. Specifically with the front edges wrapping around the screen too much creating an obtrusive lip. Someone named “bgns” in the reviews section on Amazon had this experience and received a replacement that seems to have fixed the issues. They posted some nice comparison pics of the replacement compared to the first bad one. They have more posted in their review, but here are a couple. I’m glad to see this because the way the replacement looks is exactly what I’ve gotten with all my thin Pitaka cases in the past.

I am still not convinced :) This looks good but i am waiting till more people receive their replacements or newly ordered cases to see how are the rest :)

@mouzouris I’ll let you know once mine arrives. Ordered it yesterday, arrives Sunday, although I won’t have my 13PM to put it in for another two weeks :(

They’re sending me a replacement straight from China. Will update this thread if it’s actually any better.

That’s what they did for me and the replacement case was an incremental improvement at best. Hopefully your replacement is better.

Disappointing. I may do that as well, but want to wait on others feedback before pulling the trigger.

Currently I am running the Power Support Clear Air Jacket and enjoying it.

that's unfortunate, did you order from Amazon? I'm going to do a return if the replacement is the same.
