Are there any case makers that make these types of cases but in silicone or leather? I can only think of Vaja.

ok, just wanted to pop in here and say that both the air and magez2 have similar front lips. the ez2 is about 1-2mm thicker, and i can feel the difference, especially when i hold the phone for a long period. magsafe is a lot stronger, to the point where it pulls the magsafe car vent mount off unless i pull at an angle. i like the air for the thinner/lighter profile, as well as the easier removal from the vent mount (it’s still strong enough to hold my 13pro up, though i’d be skeptical about it holding a 13pro max.

more importantly though, i just installed the spigen full screen protector just to help with the raised lip, and i gotta say, it made a huge difference. the once-sharp lip is now greatly reduced, and i’m super happy with how it turned out. i highly recommend those of you that’re bothered by the lip to get a screen protector.

i’m still going back and forth trying to decide which one i’ll keep, but right now it’s 60/40 air/magez2. for those of you using a magsafe wallet, go for the magez2 case hands down. i’m tempted to give that a try, but the 3 card limit is the main thing holding me back (4-5 would be nice).

I always go super minimalist, so Air Case for the major win. I received my second replacement. It’s much better, but not perfect. As @crazee928 suggested, the screen protector does the trick to make it the perfect package with the greatly reduced sharp raised lip.

Not sure if this is out of topic but it might intereset few people in here.

I got these cases which are the same design as the pitaka air but obviously with different material.

- Super thin. As thin as the pitaka air!
- Front Lip almost non existence (i wished the pitaka air was like this)
- Clear case is hard plastic and SUPER CLEAR!
- The clear case for some reason doesnt have a camera bump. The black one does.
- Price $2 each ?

I’m curious does anyone put some kind of skin on the exposed areas with the pitaka case on ? Or does the exposed areas stay in good shape ?
Also if you use MagSafe does it end up leaving an imprint on the back of the case ?
Thanks all

Hmmm, the Fusion Weaving Air Case is nice, especially the Concerto color.

Not sure if it is worth the premium over the regular cases though.

I had a Pitaka Air on my 12 Pro Max and I absolutely loved it - after years and years of using thick heavy leather cases. However, hearing that their build quality wasn't all that great, I held off on the 13 Pro Max Pitaka Air until now.

Just got mine in the mail and .... Reminds me 100% of the 12 Pro Max - perfect. Figured I'd say something to anyone waiting on getting one like I did.

I got a Caudabe Veil because I was using my phone a lot more often - but the Veil is just too slippery. I was dropping my phone (thankfully only on the desk) and I didn't like the way it shaped the phone. The Pitaka is rubbery - grips your hands even if you live in a dry climate like me with super dry skin. The Pitaka melds with the phone to make it feel more like the phone. I'm happy I shelved out the $ for it. (Not affiliated with the company, just really like this case). Looks like it takes them a few times to get it right on a new release.

Thanks for talking me into one. Being delivered today from Amazon. I'll send it back if I don't like it.

Yeah, Pitaka is amazing stuff I'll be honest--if you can stand the fingerprints but you can wipe it down and in your pockets it'll clean itself.

If I had to choose only 2 cases to ever buy, they would be the Apple leather and Pitaka. Everything else has always been meh

Just got my Magez2 case (sorry I know it’s an air thread) but kind of annoyed as the top right corner is totally off.

It pops off easy and you can see it’s just not seating itself correctly. It’s also the only corner with no lip and that you can see the metal frame of the iPhone.

Very disappointed and will see keen to see how they handle this.

I have 5 Pitaka Cases for iP 13 Pro. One of those is Air Fusion Weaving and it fits the best. I think it's because of 600D aramid fiber. It has only minimal lip over display. It's very light and thin. But MagEZ case is better for me, because of very strong MagSafe magnet.
