I just said, that my FRIENDS in FRANKFURT are MAJORITY Android users.

But what I'VE seen at PUBS and CAFES, meaning STRANGERS and MOST people I see whether tourists or locals use iPhones.

Is english your first language, because I did state that 2-3 posts ago.

Besides that I'm including what I've seen and customers, friends, Girlfriends, from Chennai, China, Korea as well.

I'm not including my own country as in the USA. I develop both for Android and iOS, there is a far more demand for iOS and thats a universal knowledge.

Sorry brother, but you are the one being biased and having tunnel vision. Just because it goes against you're views doesn't make it right.

None of my clients whether its in the US, China, Europe, Or India would want an Android app as a priority.

Especially B2B apps which require security which Androids are prone to.
So why then do Apples own distribution figures for the European market not back up your completely anecdotal observation?

Distributions in what figure? you mean users upgrading to iPhone 6 to 6S? obviously not. Those figures which you haven't even posted are not even taken into context.

Hell i can write statistical figures why Kyle Krover is the the best 3pt shooter of all time over reggie, curry, and others if i don't take things into context.

Have fun brother, have you been anywhere else besides the UK? My circle of European friends are clients, acquaintances and such. I travel for my business, i guess its some what of a blessing but I'm speaking on 10 years of traveling across the globe, with reading articles and statistics on my free time when I'm waiting for a flight, trains, or what not.

LOL, saying that anyone would want a Xaomi or a Huawei over an iPhone is saying i want a Civic over a 800 series BMW.
This is including the OS and ecosystem it comes with. Tell me have you been to China? how often? what cities? What Tier cities have you been to? I've been to the smallest villages to the metropolises.

You say people wanting the iPhone more than Android is not 'just speculation' then a few words further on in the same sentence that's exactly what you are doing i.e. 'speculating' with the phrase and if they do they most likely want an iPhone.

BTW Apple are not the favourites of Europe either or if you know different please provide source for your assertion.

Hmm! interesting take you have on the Pixel being a HTC. Let's flesh out your argument a little. Can we therefore call the iPhone a Foxconn phone running on iOS with an Apple logo?

Google didn't make this, just like the nexus before it, they have others do the hardware (normally shoddily, nexus 7) and they do the android build.

The data seems not to back up your observations.

http://www.phonearena.com/news/Kant...rket-share-in-the-US-Europe-and-China_id79971

This says 19% for the EU and when I look around I'd say that's pretty close.

???, My posts pretty much explains the whole Android inflated numbers because of the cheaper devices. EU has always paid the full price of iOS devices. Barring some occasions with couple carriers that offered a $200 dollar base device with some sort of contract.

If those statistics were by brand and model it would be different.

Picked up my Google Pixel XL yesterday morning. I love the phone so far. So nice to have a smooth non-lag experience that most other Android phones lack. But overall pretty much Google's iPhone.

I must say the Google Assistant is pretty amazing. It's just too bad its still generally embarrassing to use a voice assistant in public.

What a bizarre post. Too much travelling perhaps, jet lag maybe. How can figures I haven't posted be incorrect or taken out of context?

Your lack of knowledge regarding the Google roadmap shines through like a beacon. Industry insiders have reported on this many times. Google had only a small amount of input into their Nexus line of phones. The manufacturers had total control of design and build etc. The Pixel is Google's phone from the ground up with HTC making the phone for Google to Google's specification.

In the same way Apple don't make the iPhone, Foxconn do, to Apple's design and specification.

Most accurate LCD they've ever tested.
Samsung's AMOLED displays are still considered the best by DisplayMate.

The iPhone 7 matches or breaks new Smartphone display performance records for:

The Highest Absolute Color Accuracy for any display (1.1 JNCD) – Visually Indistinguishable from Perfect

The Highest Absolute Luminance Accuracy for any display (±2%) – Visually Indistinguishable from Perfect

Very Accurate Image Contrast and Intensity Scale (with Gamma 2.21) – Visually Indistinguishable from Perfect

The Highest Peak Brightness Smartphone for any Average Picture Level APL (602 to 705 nits)

The Lowest Screen Reflectance for any Smartphone display (4.4 percent)

The Highest Contrast Rating in High Ambient Light for a Smartphone for any APL (137 to 160)

The Smallest Color variation with Viewing Angle (2.1 JNCD or less)

Yup sounds like displymate crowned a new champ for most accurate displays.

True. Gmail on iOS sucks.

Sent from mTalk

Why does Gmail on iOS suck? I have used it on iPhone and find it works incredibly well as do most other Google apps. Perhaps that's why so many iPhone owners use Google apps on their phone.

I find Outlook and Apple Maps better replacements.

Just recently replaced Google maps for Apple maps after iOS10. In Gmaps I still miss the lane indicators and better at locating businesses, but overall Amaps seems more fluid and accurate(gps wise), and better use of space on the 7 plus in horizontal mode.

I still use gmaps sometimes for bike directions too.

You're the only person I ever heard/read, including many many reviews that has said they prefer Apple Maps to Google Maps. Well Apple did say Apple Maps have fans, now whose the other one? :p

I'm really not interested in this phone. I'll admit that I'm not a fan of stock android but I'd still pick a Samsung galaxy phone (even after the note 7) and even an LG phone before I'd pick this. It's bland and too expensive for nothing to boot.

Why would I buy this when I can buy a Samsung phone which will be water resistant, have wireless charging, have micro SD card support, have a better display and a better camera. It will also have all the bells and whistles of touch wiz.

It is indeed. Pretty good for this "old" LCD tech. I actually feel for these people, I mean realistically whats left for them after OLED? Not much

Apple Maps used to suck. Now it's competitive.
Who with - Apple? o_O

Sounds like you're trying to convince yourself. You're also the first person I've ever heard who prefers TouchWiz to stock Android. You'll be lucky if that statement doesn't go viral. :p

apple maps are pretty good now actually but would i use it when going away somewhere that takes 2-3 hours? nah would stick with google maps for now.

"I will spend my last dying breath if I need to, and I will spend every penny of Apple's $40 billion in the bank, to right this wrong. I'm going to destroy Android, because it's a stolen product. I'm willing to go thermonuclear war on this,"

Steve Jobs.
Yeah the guy who stole from Xerox... we know!

Samsung owners worldwide sweat blood over trying to ditch TouchWiz. I used to have a Galaxy, all the bloat, shocking. Granted it's not as heavy handed as it used to be but still not good. You wouldn't invest in MacOs and have another skin of bloat lade over it would you, and I'm sure you wouldn't put up with it in Windows either. Why then should we have to put up with it on a smartphone?

Are you trying to tell me that my own personal opinion about something that I use on a daily basis is wrong. You sir are about as arrogant a poster on here that I have ever come accross. My wife has a nexus 7, it's rubbish.
And your first comment, hyperbole much???

You don't like it, we get it. Judging by the millions and millions of repeat customers that Samsung get, you are maybe in a minority..
