Played with 6S and 6S Plus today...

It's not surprising to me that you saw some lag on the plus. I have a 6 plus, at least until tomorrow, and it loves to lag. Especially with UI stuff like rotating videos and things. Sometimes that crashes it. It should also have enough horsepower, but I think Apple's "desktop grade scaler" or whatever they called it last year doesn't work as well as they'd hope to bring the @3X assets back down to native 1080p. So the glitchy software causes issues. Sad they haven't worked it out yet for the 6S. I have fewer problems on iOS 9.
 
I also played with both phones this morning. And i agree, the first thing I noticed when I picked up the phones are their heft, I definitely can feel they are heavier than the 6 and 6+. Even not comparing, they have solid weight. The rose gold color is actually pretty nice. Its not too pink, its really subtle, imo looks like human hand palm pink. Initially I was planning to buy the 6s gold, but now I might consider rose gold as well.
And the 3D touch is really convenient, it feels natural and will become an indispensable feature like before, the 5s with touch ID.
 
I find it hilarious that he won't post a picture. We aren't asking for a picture of you smiling next to the phone holding your drivers license and employee number along with your store number. There are ways to take pics that won't expose who/where you are and I doubt Apple is going to come hunt you down since they release in mere hours.

Not even rotation of the keyboard in Spotlight? Wow. That really is awful on the 6 Plus so definitely looking forward to the 6s Plus!
 
No surprise that the larger version has inferior performance again. Glad I went for the 6S this time. I loved the 6 Plus initially but after using it for a while, the lag and stutter became increasingly frustrating. That was probably the worst performing iPhone out of the box that Apple has ever released. Not taking that chance again.
 
Oh, God damn it.
If the 6s Plus lags too then Federighi should be taken away from the iOS team.
I've put up with the 6 Plus lag since day one, hoping that 8.1 was going to make it better... but it didn't.
Then 9.0 was introduced and I was sure that it will fix it. But nope, still lags on 9.0.1

C'mon S line, don't lag. I need a 60fps 6s Plus.

I actually like the small additional weight of the 6s versus the 6. Got to fondle one yesterday, and btw it was not rose gold. I did see that color though in a 6s Plus, did not care for it.

Are we stupid because our €800 phone lags ?
Now I'm only talking about the 6 Plus because my 6s Plus did not arrive yet.

If the OP and other saw lag on the 6s Plus I belive them.

I'm going to spend again €800 on a new phone, hoping it will NOT lag.

Anyway, I will be the final judge when my new 6s Plus arrives.

Nope, but it IS stupid to start yelling "TROLL!" or "HE SHOULD BE BANNED!" like a ****ing witch-hunt over someone who was just trying to help but wan't able to provide the "proof" that was demanded (seemingly in exchange for his head).

People are losing their minds and stoning a guy who didn't make some hyperbolic tease of a thread but simply listed his impressions AND OFFERED TO HELP ANSWER QUESTIONS.

Some folks need to get a grip...or some counseling....

You are right !
I missunderstood your post ; I thought you we're calling "stupid" guys like me who complain about lag.

I have nothing but thanks for the OP who shared this information with us.
