Played with 6S and 6S Plus today...

I'm interested in the material used for the hardware.

Is the 7000 series aluminium on the 6S phones much better? Is it smoother, glossier and more resistant to bending?

And how different is the 'Ion Exchange Glass' screen compared to the 2014's iPhone 6/Plus?
 
Well the Apple guy screwed up my reservation so I had to get a 6S Plus instead of the 6S. Will use it this weekend and see how smooth it is. Might go ahead and keep it if it's smooth.

I think you need to add another possibility, whether one cares or not for millisecond events. Yes I see it and could care less.

My girlfriends 6s Rose Gold arrived.
The phone is a beast. Nothing slows it down.
Pro Tip : Rose Gold is Pink.

My 128GB 6s Plus is due to delivery sometimes next week. I'm so hyped about the Plus.
 
Yes.. No ifs ands or buts about it.. Rose Gold is quite, most definitely 'pink'.. Nothing remotely copper about the color. I have a feeling there will be MANY buyers with remorse when they open it. Saw one in the AT&T store yesterday.. Quite definitely pink..

As to 6S+ lag -- pure gibberish and nonsense. Those who say they can detect it are fooling themselves. I have both a 6S and a 6S+ side by side here today -- and there is ZERO difference between the animations between the two.. Even 'anal' people about such things are just trying to get some attention. I'm an absolute nut about performance and make all sorts of animated widgets when jailbroken. I know 'lag' when I see it. And the 6S+ is BUTTER.. I never owned a 6+.. so I can't speak to that.

Hmmm... Really? A full restore made your phone run faster? You used DFU restore and downloaded the IPSW from ipsw.me? What was wrong with it before you did this?

I'm a girl and while pink, not bubblegum pink, cause if it was, I would NOT have kept it.

Yes. This is a fair statement. It is NOT bubblegum pink or hot flamingo pink. But it's more 'pink' than 'copper'. Don't get me wrong - it's a nice color - it's just gonna set some people back that it's more to the pink side than the copper. I know of a lot of people that wanted the new color - but were on the fence because they didn't want anything approaching bubblegum pink. That's when the 'copper-gate' thing started. I don't think anyone can make the claim that it's closer to copper.

But each to his/her own. Nice color.. but call it what it is.. I'd love to follow a thread called: "Buyer Remorse over Pink Phone?".. That would be a fun thread to watch..
 
Count me in for another user who doesn't have lag KNOCK ON WOOD.

Compared to the 6+ my wife has this is smoother but battery isn't as good.. Granted I haven't let it die out yet so I'm hoping it improves with time

Always make sure you let a new battery run out to complete shut off.. Or at least under 5%. Then place it on charger all the way to 100% and at least 2 hours into trickle charge which is all charging beyond 100%. This will calibrate the battery meter correctly and should be done at least once a month. This is NOT battery conditioning which used to be needed on old rechargeable batteries but is not anymore since LithiumIon. But a similar procedure calibrates the battery. I'm getting even better battery than last gen phones.. But after I calibrated my battery as above.
