This is my first launch experience. Pretty fun I must say. Except I could not get back to sleep. Gonna be a long day at work! I'm so happy to get this phone next Fri.

We both know there's going to be a bunch of people in here pissed off on the 3rd because the 3rd parties/carriers didn't live up to the promise of launch day delivery.

Ordered thru apple store app, already had preapproved a day earlier, at 2:06 CST and got delivery date 11/3. I received confirmation email also. iPhone X 64gb at&t.
 
Current IUP customer.

Got on the Apple Store app right away at 2:01 CT, snagged the AT&T 256gb X for instore pickup on Nov 3.

Had the confirmation email by 2:03 CT.
 
Was refreshing on three devices. Got in at 2:06 am through Apple Store App and got a SG 256gb on ATT. Then the next step said they couldn't contact ATT but that they had my reservation and I could complete it later. I tried again but it wouldn't let me. So I went to bed and woke up with an email saying please finish your order. I am currently on ATT Next Every year, and I am able to trade in my phone and switch to Apple Upgrade Program (Per a conversation with the ATT employee.) When I went to complete my order it would not let me choose the Apple Upgrade Program. So I went back to the Apple Store app and chose my phone again, and this time it said delivery of DEC 10-15, OR Pick up on 11/3. I was able to complete my order with the Apple Upgrade Program and get my phone in stores on 11/3, which I prefer because I don't want my phone sitting on my front porch why I am at work. EDIT: I received confirmation that Citizens One approved me and that Apple had my order!
 
Funny how my Apple Store app didn't refresh at all until around 3:06am EDT. I had my iPhone 7 on one hand, refreshing the app, and was on the Apple website on my MacBook Air.

The Apple Website was the first to turn to my favor. The Store went up around 3:03am, and I was finally able to pre-order the device.

Crazy that you got in at 3.01 yet still the T-Mobile iPhone X was already delayed.
 
I overslept until 4am est which I knew the phone would be backordefed at that point.

Ended up being in the 4-5 week timeframe to have it arrive by first week of December. Which isn’t that bad, considering some people said you wouldn’t get one until February if you didn’t order in the first 30 mins.

IUP, did the pre-approval a few days ago. Opened the app at 2:01am(central time), still showed the store was down. Kept closing and re-opening the app. At 2:07am I was able to complete my order, got a November 3rd delivery to my home. iPhone X 256GB, Verizon.
After I did that, I went back in to the store app and ordered an Apple iPhone X leather case, will be delivered on 11/1, so 2 days before I get the phone. All set!
 
Att 11/03 space gray 256GB order completed around 3:07am.

I have a question, who apple use for delivery, FedEx or UPS? would I be able to have either one of the company to hold the phone to pick up at the facility?

iPhone X 256GB Silver for a November 3rd delivery date! Confirmation email showed up over an hour after I placed the order. Kinda had me worrying for a while.

Does anyone know in what circumstances/scenarios does Apple ship product earlier than the estimated time? The only 2 orders i ever did online from Apple did not ship early and was right on schedule (i think a day or so late actually).

It's possible that the variant you ordered is more popular so the date slipped sooner than other variant. As for earlier delivery, as I recall, Apple shipped some Apple watch earlier than estimated this year so there is always hope that they under promised.

Recently in the US it's been UPS. You can sign up for MyUPS and within the app you can have them hold it. I'm not sure if you can do that for launch day or not or if a delivery has to be made....I've managed to be home launch days so not sure but I'm sure someone on here can answer that for you...

[doublepost=1509115163][/doublepost]I was refreshing 2 iPhones, 1 iPad, and MBA - managed to get one of my iPhones to show the App Store around 3:04 am. I was able to order an ATT 256 GB Silver phone with a launch day delivery - Nov 3rd :)

Was on the app at 3:00 a.m. ET and it took about 10 minutes to get in. I'm in the IUP and had gotten pre-approval. It was just a couple clicks once I got in.
 
Got a nov 3 delivery date. This morning I woke up to an email that they are having difficulty processing my payment. Called Visa and they resolved during a 10 minute phonecall. Everything is good and I still have nov 3 delivery.

I'm really hoping so. I ordered 2 64GB's one of each color. It was the silver one where i had a Nov 3rd date confirmed after i hit place order.
 
Wasn't able to get in the app, kept refreshing and it kept saying check back later, about 3:05 AM EDT I went to the apple site and was able to pre-order the 256GB Silver Verizon, delivery Nov 3rd, email confirmation at 3:09 AM EDT
 
I got 11/10-11/17. Going into it with all the talks of supply constraints I was going to walk away happy with getting it before Thanksgiving. Here's to hoping it might ship early.
