I just got a notice that my delivery was moved up from Monday 10/4 to Saturday 10/2 (tomorrow).
I guess because of the service error this morning, they upgraded service for Sat delivery.

I guess because of the service error this morning, they upgraded service for Sat delivery.
I just got this in my Settings on my current iPhone 11 Pro Max so even Apple knows my phone is getting close:

Ordered my 13 Pro Max on the evening of the 23rd from AT&T. Expected shipping was Oct 7-14. BUT today I get a notification that I had a Fedex delivery from AT&T. It was my phone! I hadn’t even noticed the shipping email on September 30th. 😊 glad to have it earlier than expected!
9/30 Apple moved my Pro Max to preparing to ship, 10/1 I get an email from Apple telling me there’s an issue with my Verizon account and boom - cancelled. Now I’m looking at the 22nd because despite there being some phantom, non-existent problem with my Verizon account, Verizon themselves put a new order in for me. Very disappointed in this pre-order.
I spoke with Apple earlier this evening and they said that the date that UPS has for me, the 4th, is probably more reliable than their date of the 11th. Apple still thinks (this was as of about 4:30 CST) that the 4th is very doable.
Condolences. It was 4 tech-support-filled days before T-Mobile spontaneously resolved whatever issue was erroring out my IUP purchase. My blood pressure still hasn't recovered.
blergh, mine is still stuck waiting on clearance. I know I know, it could be here for days and days but I really am hoping Monday is still a go. I just don’t want my date to slip again.
Again, I know. Patience. But I’m already working with being delayed from the initial release day pickup. Sigh.
Almost in the same boat-who knows maybe I am— Apple and AT&T address didn’t match so I at least got an email to fix the issue from Apple (ordered)-but seated pushed back from 10.4-6 to 10.14-21.
Mine is also still stuck in the clearance in progress, which is why I am losing my cautiously optimistic feeling about the 4th. I feel I have read to many that have been stuck in the same stage for too many days.

Yup same here, The Apple store app is now saying Oct 11.
Another annoying thing about this is that Apple charged my cc on the 29th Sep, and so did iUP citizens loan, IMO this should be done when the phone is closer to being delivered.
Picking up in person is probably the better option.
At least we can suffer together…?
The one annoying thing is that I’m going to need to request another trade in kit, it was sent days ago and I’m still potentially half a week from getting my phone.
hopefully I’ll see some movement tomorrow. Will I stop refreshing the app every 10 minutes? No. No I won’t.
My phones shipped today via UPS and are expected to be delivered on 10/5 (original 10/8 delivery) -- I ordered them through Verizon Online on 9/23. They shipped out of Lathrop, CA and not China ... weird.
My experience over the years is that the phones ordered directly from Apple were shipped to me from China, the phones I ordered from ATT came from Texas. My friends ordering through their carriers also had USA origins for their shipments.
I had an ATT order for the iPhone 6, if I recall, that cancelled halfway between preorder day and shipment. If you remember ATT ordering back then you'll know that it was a horrible experience of web page timing out repeatedly. I think that year I finally got an easy order, but then it was cancelled and I had to scavenge on launch morning, ended up at Best Buy getting the last phone they had that was the wrong color and storage, but I had it in my hand. BB charged a premium price that they ended up refunding when I complained about it several days later- "hey, wait a minute... !"
No one could tell me why my order was cancelled, apparently a ghost in the machine wanted it for their own.
At least we can suffer together… I almost think the biggest issue is the uncertainty. It’s seemingly endless.
I’m pissed. My phone was originally scheduled Oct 6-11 now it’s Oct 21-28
No change in date for me as UPS still shows a Monday delivery, but no movement scans in 2 days either.
So either it’s stuck in China yet, or UPS tracking isn’t updating like it does for every other package.
Maybe we’ll get movement today, but I’m not holding my breath for Monday. Then again, it’s also ~60hrs of time before UPS would deliver which is a lot of time.
