I loved my 6+ and 6S+ and now smaller phones look tiny to me. The *only* complaint I have is that it can be difficult to hear if you hold your phone between your ear and shoulder while using both hands for something else, so I got used to using one hand to actually hold the phone and not give myself a crick in the neck when I talk for a long time. Haha. Other than that, it's so much easier to use for browsing and everything else.

I pull a muscle once in a while because I can't keep up with her, but aside from that, pretty amazing.

Everyone has a different perspective on this. Truly no one size fits all answer. I had the 6+ for a year and the 6s+ for the past year. I'm downsizing to the 7 this year. My wife has the regular 6s and I've spent a lot of time with it to compare. Ultimately, I just don't use my phone for anything where I really need or use the extra screen space and I miss having a lighter, more compact phone, especially when I'm at the gym and outside running or hiking, which I do a lot of. At the moment, I'm really looking forward to having smaller, more portable phone. I don't hate the Plus, and I could continue to happily use it, but I'm ready to downsize.

I have a 6S+ and I wouldn't go back to the smaller size. I have smallish hands and adjusted very quickly to the plus size. I love the larger screen, and the regular phones look teeny to me now.

My 6 Plus is just too big for its capability. Surfing web and watching videos here and there doesn't require something this big. Unless it runs OS X of course... then I would go back to big screens.

This entirely depends on your use case. I love my 6+ for watching video and browsing the internet. The battery has been amazing. The 3 reasons I went back to the regular size for the 7 are
1. Because the battery is closer to my 6+
2. We now have a 1 year old and I find myself more and more having to use my phone with one hand which is much harder on the 7. Mostly I get annoyed with reaching horizontally with my thumb.
3. and this seems silly but It is very annoying to use laying sideways in bed which I do a lot when I go to sleep or wake up every day.

I can say I never regretted the size of the 6+ (coming from the 5s) until the day my wife got the 6S and after playing with it I realized it was the perfect size for me.

Moving to the plus size phone for the first time. I have been looking through a lot of forums and I imagine that I will have a little trouble at first (medium size hands, tighter pants), but I think I can get used to it quickly. I have been looking at my usage since I preordered the 7+ and I use two hands mostly on my 6s. I don't think I will have any issues. I will report back next week if I, hopefully, get my 7+ on Friday.

for me, and prob for any other human being with delicate and not apeish hands, the plus is far too big.

another member used the word 'comical' earlier, and that may be the perfect word to describe the size of the Plus range.

Apple is doing a poor job with the screen to size ratio on the Plus.

iPhone 7 256gb Jet Black for me.

Use it for a week and you won't notice the size anymore until you try to use the dinky standard size.

I've been using the plus for 2 years and I definitely still notice the size. My wife has the 4.7 and everytime I hold it it just feels right sized in comparison.....especially when I put it in my pocket.

After using the Plus for 2 years, the iPhone 5s/SE models do feel tiny to me - I don't think I could go back to that. But, the regular size iPhone doesn't feel like that to me. In some ways, it feels more efficient. One example that I noticed today doing side by side comparisons of my 6s+ to my wife's 6s was that each phone has the same number of app icons on each screen and those app icons are the same size - the only difference was the space between the apps. The non-Plus model is still a decent sized screen in my opinion. Really all a matter of personal preference.

Honestly the "plus" is ugly because it's so big

Unlike most in here I had both. I bought the 6 plus at launch, I liked it and got use to it but it was so big. (Don't have small hands)

Then went and got the 6S plus then said screw it and tried the 6S 4.7 and I love it

It's big still compared to the old phones and perfect size without being so ugly in hand and in pocket.

Probably will never go back to a plus, almost thought about it because of the new camera on the 7 plus but yea, not worth it

Honestly, the Plus is beautiful because it's just the right size. Finally, an iOS phone screen that's big enough to really enjoy the interface and get real things done.

The 5.5" screen may be just the right size, but certainly not the current Plus footprint as it's pretty unwieldy. However, Apple is rumored to ditch the home button in the 2017 iPhone, which should in theory give us 5.5" screen in the non-Plus footprint. We will then have the best of both worlds.

Apparently, Apple can't (or won't) build a phone without a huge annoying bezel.
I hate big phones. The perfect size for me in terms of width was the first iPhone.
Unfortunately, they also made the #1 item on my wish list only available on the huge, one-hand unfriendly plus size phone.

My questions is for anybody that used the 6/6S+ for the last year or 2. Did you get used to it? Would you replace it with the standard size? How many plus users switched to standard size later on?

Would thank any input.
Loved my 6+ and my 6S+....go big or go home, slappy

I was all set to go in on the 128gb Plus, but due to recent strain in my hands while using my current 6 Plus, I'm thinking that maybe a downgrade to a regular 7 might be in order....

I've had the 6+ and 6S+ now - and it took me about a week with the 6+ to get used to the larger size. Now, I find anything smaller too small. It's like pulling out of a rental car lot - the wheel and the controls everything is in the right places, just the muscle memory is not baked in. Our brains remarkably adjust within a very short time.

Trust me you can't go wrong, I had a 6 for a year and it great, no complaint. But wowww changing to a Plus this last year was like discovering a whole new world....give it a week and I'm sure anybody could get used to it

My comments are based on my ownership of a launch 6+ 128GB.

Im certainly not one for gargantuan phones.

I've used the 6+ for two years and I am used to using it one-handed all the time. I use a silicone case so it's a lot grippier. That helps.

I have peripheral neuropathy and Raynaud's so holding things in my hands can be a challenge for me sometimes. The 6+ isn't much of a problem for me. I think I've only dropped it a couple of times. Often though I can't feel the vibrate in my pocket because of the neuropathy. Drives my family crazy that I "didn't get their text" again .

I wouldn't switch to the smaller size iPhones. I love the bigger screen and the larger virtual keyboard makes typing much easier for me. My kids and wife all have the regular size iPhones 6S. They all think the + is too damn big :D.

I'm not buying a new iPhone this year, but if I were, I'd be switching from the 6+ to the regular 7. It's just too annoying not being able to reach half of the screen when holding one handed. I'm really tired of it. Trying to use this phone until it dies though.

Agree. I'm eager to see what a bezel-less iPhone looks like. An even BIGGER screen would be possible without them.

I'm in the minority, but I am moving to a 7 after having being with Plusses in the 6 and 6s series. I'm all for portability now, and I was originally only with the Plus line for battery life and OIS. I'd actually make my SE my daily phone if it had premium features, but now, I plan on selling it.
